Clarks Hamble Oak, Women's Brogues

After reading the reviews I was not sure about the size so I decided to stick to the size chart - 6UK=39EU. They fit perfectly. However, take into account that they fit well for a narrow size foot. If you have wider feet they may need to be worn a few times to loosen up.The leather quality is absolutely great and do not make wrinkles. I am really happy with the purchase.

After all the years of wearing cheap shoes - and pretty much wrecking my feet, I decided to just bite the bullet and go with Clarks. Thank God I did because these are amazing! I'm a size 7 (regular) but was actually ready to order a 7.5 to be safe as I don't usually buy shoes online. Because I don't buy shoes online, I actually went into the store and tried them on, so I would suggest that this is the way forward if you have the opportunity. The leather is slightly stiff at first, but I know I'll be able to wear these all day so am very happy with the money I spent - especially the fact that it was £60 in the shop. The lady who served me was lovely, but I didn't have the heart to tell her that I was just trying then on, and off to go get them for about £20 cheaper! Eventually I'll get them in tan.Please note that these pics make my ankles look massive! In person they look nothing like this - just concentrate on the shoe lol

I wasn't sure about this shoe when I bought it. I normally take wide fitting, but I needed a pair of smart black shoes that day for a morning interview the next day, and I was willing to take the chance.I'm glad I did! These shoes looked so narrow, but once they were on they fit my great big flippers perfectly. It's like magic.If your foot ranges from regular to wide, you'll be fine. If your feet are super wide or super narrow, I'm not sure this will fit you well. Just bear that in mind.They also have a lovely padded sole, and look very smart and stylish. Clatks always make good quality shoes, and these are no exception.The only issue I would say is that the laces are a bit short. These can easily be replaced, however, so I don't think it's a serious problem.

As always with Clark’s shoes, excellent quality and immediate comfort. I wear mostly Clark’s Hamble Oak brogue shoes in varying colors (mainly black it has to be said) but took the plunge in these animal print shoes as they were well priced and do make a bit of a statement whilst not yelling in the office environment. I was pleasantly reassured that the fit as normal was very good and as soon as you slip them on they feel so comfortable you can wear them all day and drive in them comfortably too. Do invest in a shoe horn for this model if you don’t use one already or you will damage your shoes and the backs of your heels as I found out hopping round the room having misplaced mine :0)

These shoes are beautiful and well made. I also received them within a couple of days, so no problem with this. However, for me the comfort was compromised with style! I ordered a 4.5 D, which is normally my shoe size. Unfortunately, they felt too wide around my toes and in spite of wearing a thin pair of socks as opposed to pop-socks I had several blisters on my toes by the end of the day due to friction. I will try to wear them with a thicker pair of socks to iron out the problem. The leather is hard to break in although I did wear them at home a few times for 20 minutes before wearing them outside.

These are surprisingly comfortable as they looked as if they would pinch at the toes but they are a perfect fit. My one issue is that they are very slippery and loud. Of course, normally this wouldn't be a problem but I purchased these for work and have had a few near-falls on damp floors. The heel is quite loud and clicky, and my heavy step means that I often attract attention when just walking about. Just my own personal issue, and shouldn't detract from an otherwise good shoe that has held up.

The Hamble Oak never fail to disappoint! Always fit well with plenty of room and so comfortable! I'm lucky enough (at present) to be able to walk to work and wear them to, from and all day whilst at work. I have them in black, tan and plan to get them in red, green and grey - Fantastic shoes for every day wear.

Perfect perfect perfect... didn't get chance to 'run' these shoes in before a city break in Florence... so lucky! and surprised... very very comfortable from the very beginning.. Walked well for over a week of pavements, good resistance to water. Good with skirts or trousers. Love the shaded colour and the noise they make on the stone pavements! The other colourways are not as classy looking. I hope they last for a long time. Very happy to recommend.
