Great Fan Great Service! YEA USA!
Got married, found out my wife slept in much warmer temps than I did. Got really hot at night and slept poorly. Looked for solutions, most expensive was the water circulating $500 machine that didn't work. Cheapest was the "chillo" type products that got warm.Enter the Bedfan (not bedpan), first one I got shut off after the first night of use (apparently there was a defective batch per the manufacture) so I got sent another base FREE with 3 day shipping. Customer service was great! So now, about the product....LOVE IT! LOVE IT! I tell everyone about my woes of warmth to the calm of cool with my Bedfan. Most people think its odd when I relay how much I love it. It sends a nice gently breeze under the covers and keeps me cool at night.I was one of those guys who always slept with a leg outside the blankets or always was flapping then up to get some airflow. Or I found my behind my knees to get kinda sweaty at night. NOT ANYMORE. I just keep my bedfan rolling and I feel cool all night. What about your wife/husband in the bed with you, do they feel it? Well in our Queen bed my wife said she could feel it only a few times, so our solution was to put a small blanket between us at out feet. Worked great.People complain about it not going fast enough for comfort. I usually turn it about half way up when i first get in to cool down and then before i sleep about a quarter of the way on for a comfy sleep. Now when its about 75 degrees I keep it a little higher. When it gets to 70s and below I just keep it on the lowest setting for a nice comfy sleep all night with fresh air. Yes sometimes my feet get cold, but not uncomfortably so. I coudln't image leaving this thing full blast all night, its kinda loud AND I would be freezing! But the noise doesn't bother me to much, at a low speed its hardly noticeable.I do usually use a small 5 in table top fan just for the noise next to me as well and at the speeds i mentioned above I can't usually hear it over it.Its like having a warm spring breeze blow over you , but you still get the comfort and weight of the blankets. Plus its not a fan blowing in your eyes and mouth drying you out and not really cooling you because its not under the blankets. Trust me sounds crazy, but its not. Its crazy good!

These should come standard with every bed!
This works very well.My wife sleeps hot and I sleep cooler. We bought this for our king sized bed and put it at the foot on her side. The first night she ended up turning it off because it got too chilly for her! Having used it for about a month now, she will typically turn it on as she settles into bed and turn it off right before she nestles in to sleep. If she wakes up hot, she turns it on low for the rest of the night. We've also been able to raise the nighttime temperature in our house as a result of having this fan.For me, I can block the air with the covers if it ever makes me cold. The noise level is quiet, but higher in pitch than I expected. I feared it would be a nuisance, but it has never bothered me at night. The only downside has been the need to tuck in the sheet at the foot of the bed (this isn't our preference). Since I don't know any other way it could be made to work I didn't dock a star for that.

I sleep hot. This is what i needed!
Fan worked great for two days. Then stopped working. Motor seems to be underpowered. This is a great item and concept if it was only made with more quality. I was really rooting for this item, because it is such a needed item.Update. 6/18/15 Got a replacement blower unit immediately from seller today. Customer service is outstanding. Will post a more detailed update after I use this new unit for a few days.Update 7/6/15. New one working great. Blows well. I sleep hot. This is very helpful and what I hoped for. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is I wish the motor was a little more powerful and blew about 30% harder.

but it doesn't keep my sheets/bed cool at all
I'm not sure if your house has to have the a/c temperature set low, or what, but it doesn't keep my sheets/bed cool at all. It just blows the warm air under the sheets. I keep my air down to 75, but my room is the hottest, even with black out currents and a Honeywell standing fan. I was hoping this would help stay cool at night but it doesn't.

first night sleep review
So this is just the first night I've used it and I felt important to let you know what I thought of it. First the plastics of the unit are built very well. high grade, not flimsy and have internal supports to prevent the plastic from bending. Really nice build. The remote, which is wired uses what feels to be 16 gauge wiring and the remote itself has a potentiometer with has a good positive detent to indicate when the unit is turned on and off. The knob is sturdy and very well made and partly overhangs the side of the remote for easy and quick adjustment. There's velcro on the sides of the unit and height retaining pads to help adjust the height of the exhaust end which, in my opinion is a brilliant way to do it instead of plastic nubs or something. Overall I like the build quality of the product except the fans. First there's 2 which I'm sure helps move air but overall there's very little airflow for the size of this unit. at first glance they appear to be 120mm fans, but again I just glanced at them, I'll measure them and see if I can find a part number on them later. When at full speed there was a lot of mechanical noise from the fans which I was able to hear over my CPAP. I was able to back it down to about 75% and it was much quieter but the air volume was still low. it kept my feet cool like I expected but it didn't however carry a breeze up my body like what is implied. there isn't a guard over the fan intakes which could mean that a little kid or a cat's tail might accidentally get into it. there isn't a filtering mechanism to keep the internals of the unit clear of sucking in dust bunnies into the unit. Improvements to the unit, in my opinion would be instead of 2 fans, try a squirrel cage fan to increase the air volume and a filter which can both filter and act as a guard over the entrance. I was thinking about it, I like the wired remote, the simplicity of it helps lend to less complex parts breaking and it's long enough to tuck between your matress and box spring and run it the length of a CAL-King bed. I plan on continuing testing out different ways to keep it and what I might be able to do with the fan noise and air volume.
