Review Karen Chance doesn't disappoint, once again we have an action packed adventure with a strong female character that, while tough as nails, and a dhampir - is also very human (SFRevu)A grab-you-by-the-throat-and-suck-you-in sort of book with a tough, smart heroine and sexy-scary vampires. Just what I like to curl up with. I loved it (Patricia Briggs)A really exciting book with great pace and a huge cast of vivid characters. This is one of my favourite reads of the year (Charlaine Harris) About the Author Karen Chance is the New York Times bestselling author of two urban fantasy series. Her previous novels Touch the Dark, Claimed by Shadow, Embrace the Night, Midnight's Daughter, Curse the Dawn, Death's Mistress and Hunt the Moon are all published by Penguin. Best books ever
This is the best book series ever, it has something for everyone, and the author is the loveliest person who really appreciates her fans. I have been reading these and the Cassandra Palmer series for over ten years, and i reread them at least once a year, and i adore them every time. Buy all of the books, they're hilarious and incredible.

Uncomplicated girl in a complicated world/worlds
This book has cheered my year up, Karen Chance has pulled a kick Ass chick with romance all meshed with quick witted humour that had me rolling in the aisle of my rather tedious train journey. Who else would think of giving the randy fey condoms hilarious or even make a simple trip to the local shop a show down involving one's nemesis lovingly nicknamed Scarface. Of course the twists and turns of Dori's life still keeps spinning yet another exciting and dramatic tail that holds you captive til the very end. Karen Chance did NOT disapoint i was only sad when I turned the final page and realised I would now have to wait for her nest. Readers thats like this need to be introduced to the Rachel Caine, Richelle Mead, Diana Rowland and Chloe Neil who all spin tails containign strong female characters with romance, and supernatural twists that not only keep you guessing but entertain you to the very highest heights.

altering perceptions
I have read all of Karen Chance's books including all the shorts and had always leaned toward the Cassie Palmer series rather than DorinaBut this book has brought what I felt to be the missing parts of Dory to lifeIt finally makes sense to me and I can get a complete picture of her strengths her weaknesses her determination her hurt and she is amazingI hope sometime in the future she bridges the Gap and realises her full potentialNow I will be looking forward to her series with as much enthusiasm as the Cassie seriesOn a different note it also brings Mircea out form the darkness into the light and I love him more nowBut it is now a big dilemma who should I cheer for Pritkin or Mircea ....

Everything I look for in a fantasy read
Karen Chance's writing and Dorina's series just get better and better. I loved this book which is absolutely packed with ideas, enough for three normal books. The book races along and at times it almost felt like too much and I had to keep putting it down for a minute to think about what had just happened. But then I couldn't bear not to continue reading and picked it up again!Really interesting character development of both Dorina and Mircea, a convincing fantasy world, an interesting plot, lots of thrills, humour, sexy intervals and an engaging love interest for Dorina. What's not to like. Definitely a five star read.

Amazingly good follow up!!
This has been sitting in my wishlist for ages, with me waiting impatiently for the book to be released! Normally I get myself so psyched up for the next in a series that it usually ends up not as good as expected but 'Fury's Kiss' was that and more.Dory was her usual determined self and in as much trouble as ever, the action kept going the whole way through and I honestly hadn't a clue what was going to happen half the time.We see plenty of Louis-Cesare this time and I thought his and Dory's relationship was believable, while there is romance it doesn't take over the plot. This is the third book so I won't keep going about how great it is, just buy this if you liked the first two!

Jury's Kiss
Another great book by this very talented author. I am a great fan of the Cassie Palmer series and although it has taken me a while to getting around to read the Dorina books I can gladly say they were well worth it. Both series have good strong characters in them and you will find some characters are the same in both series so they go hand in hand with each other. I would love to see more books in both series
