My favorite noodle cup. Take to work for lunch or big snack. Noodles aren't obviously thick restaurant style udon but still better than regular Ramen. Could be cheaper cause you only get 6.

Great Flavor Ramen from a high-quality/popular Ramen Brand
Nong-Shim is a popular Korean Ramen (and other snack foods) brand, and I typically enjoy their products. But some of their noodles are way to spicy for me, since I am sensitive to spicy/hot foods. I really love this Tempura Udon Noodle Cup though, because the savory flavor is not spicy but it is still flavorful and delicious (i.e., not bland). There are bits of dehydrated tempura flakes and seaweed pieces that you add (in the dry packet) which make it sort of unique, and I really enjoy the soup and noodles on a cold day. Also, unlike some other lesser-quality ramen brands, Nong-Shim's noodles stay firm/"al dente" (I know that's more of an Italian adjective, but I can't think of a better term right now) enough and perfectly chewy. And for those of you who prefer a larger meal, there is also a BIG Noodle version of this same product, I believe, with the same flavor/add-ins, etc. It is just a larger serving size, so would be good if you prefer more food in one sitting.

Much better than supermarket dry noodle soups, as long as you like spicy
I really like this soup and have re-ordered a number of times. But always wonder why soups of this type have to be THIS SPICY? I don't mind spicy but this can really be over the top. Only reasoning to my mind is if they (and others) cut back on the "spicy" it would have to be replaced by taste! Real or chemical based chicken stock flavor wouldn't be that expensive an addition.I'll ordered again because of the ease of use, and it always works when you're looking for a quick lunch. Chocked full of noodles and dehydrated things I'm never quite sure what they are.

Not bad
I had ordered these a few days ago and they came in today, so for lunch I decided to have one of them. I found the inside contents to be odd, to say the least as I've never came across ramen with these puffy bread pieces, I put my hot water in, waited three minutes, opened and started eating it.It's good, has a bit of a fishy taste to it, the broth is... well.. odd, I had my mom try it and she didn't like the broth at all, This is one of those things that I find to be a hit or miss, as goes with ordering ramen online. Would I reccomend it? Maybe. It would depend on that persons tastes to ramen.

Delicious and Satisfying - Nongshim Tempura Udon Noodle Cup.
Nongshim Tempura Udon Noodle Cup immediately became my favorite ramen at first sip! Delicious flavors and a little spicy. The added seafood blends perfectly with the noodles and soup. I am surprised that some people's reviews are negative, as that certainly is not the case with me. We have made many trips to Asia, and lived there for years. We have a taste for authentic Asian flavors. Nongshim is a quality company that is widely known in Asia, and Oriental markets here in the USA. USA customers may not realize that the flavoring packet does not have to be added completely. If you like milder broth and less spicy, then just add part of the packet. Once buyers move beyond the 3 for a Dollar ramen, they can enjoy a more authentic noodle soup that has less salt and other chemicals, such as this one. Highly recommended!

Misleading Labeling. This doesn't use Udon noodles.
I am very disappointed with this product. Nongshim does offer true Udon noodles products which are very good. This one is labeled as Tempura Udon. But the noodles are like ramen. If this was labeled as ramen noodles, I would say it's pretty good.

Best Tempura Udon Noodles in a cup
I’m usually not into a seafood flavored soup but this Tempura Udon is delicious! It’s mild, not fishy smelling, just tasty and the noodles are chewy and slurpable. Highly recommended. Tip: let sit for a minute longer than it says so the udon plumps up. It’s not a thick udon noodle but a thin one.
