Evolution Diet Gourmet Entree Moist Cat Food Half Case 12 Cans

Tried gradually introducing this in with his favorite foods including yogurt in a 1:3 mix. Kitty never really liked it. I then tried full strength-still no effect. I am now left with 11 unused cans. Plus, these are really large cans and I don't see my portly 11-pound kitty eating even quarter of this can at any one time (even if he did take a liking to it). In case he did, you will have to store this open can in a refrigerator until the second use (which I detest). The first can I opened gathered mold when I left the half empty can in the closet so they need to make a smaller single serve can-size instead of the large cans.

Two months ago my two cats ages 6 and 15 went from a flesh diet (tuna, chicken, salmon and salad with nutritional yeast) to a lacto-vegetarian diet with Evolution moist and dry food and they have never looked back. I do have to combine this moist food with Seven Stars plain yogurt and then they eat it all enthusiastically. I also add some veggies to the mix. They have stopped their constant nagging me for food and seem much more content. My 15 year old boy was very thin and now he has filled out handsomely. The coats of both cats have become very silky and soft.

It is really hard to find vegetarian soft food. It is even harder when your cats won't eat it because it is misnamed. This is called a moist food. I ordered a case of 12 and will likely have to throw out most of it. The food is extremely dry--like dried out meatloaf. There is nothing wet or moist about it. We tried adding water to it--they still won't eat it.

My cat loves it! I feel very happy she is cruelty free and the healthiest now. She’s been more active, calmer when I’m about to feed her, and more affectionate.

If you are not on the vegan page, What I do is I mix in a spoon of Weruva chicken soup WITH this vegan mixture.

This products is far from vegan. To find out for yourself try to smash the food gently with a spoon you will find small bone fragments. I've been in contact with the company and they claim they lab tested the fragments I sent them and that they are "mineral based calcium" yet they refuse to send me the lab results to see for myself. Instead they told me to find a different company to purchase from when I asked.
