The packaging and labelling is gender-neutral in shades of blue with highlight colors of yellow, red, and black. Ease of application is the same as some other lip moisturizers that are sold in this type of small jar, such as the competitor, C_ _ _ _ _x. It does require two hands to open the jar, and you do need at least one clean finger to apply the moisturizer to the lips. This is typical for this type of product. The color of Savex Lip Moisturizer is completely neutral and transparent when applied to the lips or skin. The viscosity of the product is very smooth, not waxy, and the taste or flavor is sort of a minty menthol, but not as overbearingly strong as the other brand, C _ _ _ _ x. In warm climates the moisturizer gets a little softer and in cold weather it is slightly more solid, but it never liquifies or solidifies. The imprint on the jar cover reads: " SAVEX Quick Relief for Cold Sores, Fever Blisters, Dry Chapped Lips", then some general instructions, including "With Sunscreen", "Net Wt 1/4 oz.", and "Active ingredients: Padimate O, Menthol , Camphor, Salicylic Acid, in spacial base." In conclusion , I prefer Savex for its better flavor, efficacy as a medicine, effective ingredients, protective packaging, eye-catching graphics, and small, space-saving size.

I feel this is the best lip balm ever! It's really hard to find though. When I lived in CA. I used to find it sometimes. Now I live in Norther Arizona ' I could only find it at one gas station. A couple of years ago they stopped carrying it, then they brought it back, & my mom & I were always buying a ton when we were in there, afraid it would go away..... And what do u know, they stopped carrying it avian this month! But thanks to Amazon, we were able to find it and buy a 12 pack for a great deal! It arrived early, and now we will only buy it through Amazon!

Throughout my lifetime, I've tried various brands of lip balm, from Blistex to Vaseline to the latest rage, Eos. I invariably return to Savex because it really one of the better formulas. I find the smell is not too overpowering, which some brands rely heavily on. The consistency is softer and easier to apply than Blistex. I don't need to keep dabbing at the jar and reapplying with Savex. Also, for some reason, the other brands never feel like it absorbs into my lips, and thereby provides real moisture. Savex's consistency is such that is protects from the elements but really moisturizers through absorption. Others feel like they just stay on the lips superficially and never really get absorbed. Been using this product for nearly 20 years and hope it never gets discontinued.

I am sure the product works fine. This is about the order. Beware...I have ordered this product twice and both times I only received 1 piece out of 12 pieces in the box.

I find this to be the best product to keep my lips from drying out. I use it at night only, because in my opinion it is a little too shiny for daytime use for a man. Originally, my order shipped with just 10 jars instead of 12, but after I contacted the seller they got back to me within a few days and shipped out the missing two units without any hassle.

Just retired from pediatric dentistry. I used Savex in my office for the last 25 years or more. We call it "Lips", applied it to almost every child we saw and never went to bed, outside or anywhere without it. It does not need to be reapplied so often. We bought boxes of it and passed it out to most of the patients, friends and family. Great stuff!!!

I have been using Savex since I lived in California where I could get it in the dollar store. I can’t find it there anymore so I’m thankful that I can get it online! I am addicted to it and it’s the only one that satisfies my need! Lol

I really like Savex in this form and don't like paying for each little jar separately so I ordered two dozen. You can find them all over my house. I take some very drying medications and I have a habit of biting my lips so I need this. It's not as easy to find now that there is no Greenbacks store because Dollar Tree doesn't carry it. I was happy to find it on Amazon. I've used Savex on my hands when they are really dry and will rub it into the area of a hangnail on my fingers. I can't stand the taste of the competition.

This is a good product, however the seller from Japan is not. 1 jar instead of 12 jars arrived and I couldn’t request the missing 11 jars to be sent. I had to send the 1 jar back now I have none! Amazon you can do better

These work well as they do not make your lips more dry after using it and last a long time.
