Just what I expected. They are small but perfect for small projects.

I got both the different colored sets for doing amigurumi crochet. It’s more yarn than I thought it would be and should last longer than I figured it would - pretty good amount for the money.The yarn isn’t too scratchy but also not very soft. The strands can split, but it seems to be about the same as other #4 medium yarn I’ve used.Overall, I’m not 100% sure I’ll buy it again; but I’ll use all the yarn I have! Since I’m just starting doing amigurumi and using yarn on practice projects, it’s been great for that.I’m super sensitive to smells and contact allergies and I’ve had no problems with either of those things with this yarn.

The first skein I used was great. After that though, all the other skeins have been awful, fraying and splitting constantly. Unusable for this beginner! I tried repeatedly to use several different colors and finally decided I needed to come back and change my initial review. In between my trying to work with this yarn I've used other brands of lighter gages and have had great results with all of those. I would definitely say that this product is not great to crochet with if you are a beginner.

As per other reviews, the yarn is splitty. I am using it for a mosaic crochet blanket, fighting the splits, but making it work.

Vibrant colours and nice at touch but don't expect to have a good quality wool.
