A little loose
These seem to be nice shoes but although they do fit true to size they’re a little loose feeling around the entire foot. This is due to the thin light weight materials used in the making of them. They are extremely extremely light which is what I was wanting so I’m very happy with that. I’m going to put a different insole inside them because they just don’t feel soft inside like I like my shoes to feel. I’m hoping this will help remove some of the extra space around the foot also. They are a great looking shoe though so I’m also happy with that. As with all shoes it will take some time to see how they hold up though as I just got them. Will update later. If you don’t want the looseness maybe buy 1/2 size smaller for a snugger fit.

not waterproof
Bought a pair by same brand a couple of years ago. ore well but feet started getting wet after a few months. The did last and were fairly comfortable. Ordered this pair and feet are getting wet after only 1-1/2 months. Only walking with dog in wet grass that is only 3 inches long. They are okay to wear but do not keep feet dry.

Not as good as the description
The description is so well written. It is like a breakthrough product that is comfortable. After trying to break it in after more than 50 miles , I decided to throw in the towel and throw this piece of s_ _ _ away. Why ?1. The shape of the shoes made my left pinky toe hurt so much. I was hoping it would break in but I gave up. I usually wear shoes by Columbia Sports Wear. Columbia is not a luxurious brand and is rated average in my opinion but I never had problem with fit and my pinky toe and I wore out at least 5 pairs in my lifetime. Brooks is my favorite but it is expensive. Here are the Pros and ConsPros1. strong sturdy sole. It looks like it will last2. Strong fortified upper part of the shoesCons1. Definitely not light weight. It is heavy .2. Brooks used some kind of synthetic fabric. This is made from rubber and strong material that doesn’t stretch well so it doesn’t feel comfortable. It feels like I am wearing a pair of shoes made with wood or stone.3. Not 100 % waterproof. Not made with GoreTex. I wore it in San Francisco in the winter and the toes area were wet but but my feet wear not completely drench.4. Not for trail running but rather for short distance difficult climb because it is too sturdy for nimble work out but too heavy and not flexible that your feet will be tired.5. Terrible fit, made with non- flexible, stretchable material.6. See photos. After a walk of 8 miles I noticed these. The thin fabric is breaking apart on both shoes. They are like foot sores . The material is paper thin. Even though it looks durable on the outside, it is falling apart on the inside. In the end, what you pay is what you get. This is not a well known brand but something made by somebody in China. It is not Brooks, North Face, Nike, Adidas. It is not Lamborghini or Porsche or Audi. It is more like a Yugo, an AMC .Footwear is one of the most important article on your body, along with comfortable cotton underwear , etc. When you put on 50,000 steps , 100,000 steps . I reckon that I put on at least 300 miles to 500 miles or 600,000 steps to 1,000,000 steps so every step needs to be as comfortable and as effortless, as if you are not wearing any shoes. It is worth paying more for other better known, well tested brands because of the time that you will spend wearing it , 6 months to a year maybe. This shoe that I made rank at the lowest rung of my comfort ladder. Next to it was my Timberland hiking shoe. I don’t like to write this kind of review but I thought it is important for buyers to know this. I would suggest wear it inside your clean floor for a week ( so you can return it ) . Don’t test it out on a muddy rocky trail. If it is still feel comfortable , keep it.I don’t throw away shoes until they fall apart but I have to made an exception and this will end up in a landfill , unfortunately. I can’t imagine hurting my pinky toes anymore . It is not worth saving $100 in exchange for painful pinkies.

excellent for walking in snow due to the sole
I'm not a fan of the extra heel cushion that's higher than the sole; it makes the foot slide forward so toes hit the end of the shoe. For me, they're not wide enough either and glad I went up a half size. I wonder if a whole size up would have been better. But I do feel safer walking to the garage when it's snowy outside; walking in grocery stores, not so much. I'd purchased them for winter snowy use and they work and at my age (77) hiking is not something I'll be doing. No clue regarding water resistance.

Great hiking shoes **Check updated review
I use these shoes to play disc golf. Went out one day after it rained thinking it would be pretty dry, I was wrong. However, my feet stayed dry, even after stepping in puddles including one where the ground sank almost up to the ankle.*Update 5/22/20: I am still giving these shoes 5 stars even though the sole gave out on one of them. It started pushing up towards the toe, so I removed both soles from each shoe and the shoe is still comfortable and water resistant.**Update 6/16/20 Had take a star away. Would take a star and a half away if I could. Yesterday there was a slight mist, not heavy rain, just off and on mist. So, I was walking through wet grass for almost 30 minutes and my feet were soaked and cold. So right now 3.5 stars these did not hold up well against constant wetness. A quick step in a puddle or creek and you're good, but constant moisture and you're in trouble.

Shoelaces...Wazzup with that!
The shoes are great for the two days that I have used them. I splashed them, stepped in puddles, and abused them, but they kept the water out...so far! My biggest complaint is with the shoelaces which continue to loosen and come undone. I must have retied them 10 times or more per day until I started to knot them (knotting the "bunny ears" ). The shoes are great and are waterproof as advertised. Also I have wide (3E) feet so I purchased a size larger (10.0 vice 9.5)....it was a little tight but got better while wearing the shoes.

Comfortable, light, wide
Looked at a lot. This one had a good price, generally good reviews, lightweight and for wide feet. Often get a 10.5 US/Canada, but ordered 11. Good fit, comfortable, good airing of feet. Only downside is initial off-gassing from chemicals used, but this dissipates in a day or two.

Great shoes
I’ve worn these shoes daily since IBought them, I’ve now bought a second pair to wear to work because the others are always dirty from walking the dogs. This way I don’t have to keep washing them.I highly recommend these shors
