I own a set that my family would always sigh and sure would wish they had a set like mine. I found this one and gave it as a gift for Christmas for this particular family. Boy…did I make points! It’s a wonderful set. The characters are clear, weighs very much like my official set, and sold at a very good price.

It was much smaller than expected, but it was well made

This set came exactly as described--timely and in perfect condition. The tiles are nice and hefty, as well as beautifully engraved and painted. The great thing about the American mahjong set is that it has the second-most tiles of any region's set (the Vietnamese set has more I think but is harder to acquire, and the Japanese set has tiles that are exclusive to that set--the Red 5s) so you can simply omit the tiles you do not wish to use if you choose to play by another region's rules.As far as I am concerned, there is one minor negative to this particular package, though you may not consider it a negative at all. The carrying case for the game is made of a thin cardboard with faux reptile skin affixed to the outside. When carrying the full set by just the case's carrying handle, it feels like it could come apart, as it is fastened closed by two snap buttons on either side of the handle. I would suggest carrying this set like a tray with both hands as opposed to solely the carrying handle and you will be more secure with it.This is a great purchase to get into mahjong and is inexpensive compared to pretty much any other set that you can find. The carrying case is also rather handy for travel despite my critique.

The product is good but case is weak a pushbutton came out of box in one use

Shipping was fast and delivered as instructed. Product quality is good. Me, my children and grandchildren (ages 5 & 6) played for hours. The only issue I've had is the tiles sliding out of the side (between the lid and exterior case wall).

My granddaughter loves to play games when she comes to visit so I bought this for us to play. We both love it.

This mahjong game States is for children. But it's not as an adult game. So do not buy if you have a child at once one.
