Perfect! Easy!
The antenna snapped off my wife's 2001 Chevy Suburban. This fix worked great! I would highly recommend this product.NOTE for 2001 Chevy Suburban owners: the "black rubber insulator cap" mentioned in Step #3 seemed to be glued to the antenna base. I got most it off with vise-grips but had to remove the three screws holding the antenna base, then remove the antenna base, and used a knife to trim away the excess insulator cap. These extra steps were very easy to do and added only about 5 minutes to the installation process. I filed everything clean while I had the antenna base out. This is a Chevrolet problem, not an issue with this product.

Easy repair
It was easy to install and way better than replacing the whole factory antenna.

Works great, but I had to cut about a quarter inch off the cap for it to fit my 06 Trailblazer. The antenna base is a little different than the other GM trucks, so it doesn't fit and it needs to be shortened in-order for the set screw to be positioned just right. Other than that it has been great having radio reception during my commute.

One issue on Yukon XL 2001
Good product idea. One thing on my 2001 GMC Yukon XL was Old antenna didn't have an easy rubber grommet. More like it had a poly carbonate shield over the top of it. Couldn't get it off until I chiseled it off with a small chisel a screwdriver would work. After that everything fit right and 10 a strong and solid all good. Much better than trying to stuff the old antenna cable into a new fitting you've ripped out.

This antenna fix kit is well worth the money.
I used this kit to repair the snapped off antenna of my 2008 GMC Sierra 1500. I think it works better than the original equipment. I get more stations and the signal lasts for quite a distance.

The name says it all
On a one to ten? TWENTY!First let me say that while waiting a couple days for the product to arrive, I sanded the broken stub smooth that remained after my old antenna snapped off. That took 5-10 minutes and was fairly easy. The item arrived today. I opened the package and went to my truck to intall it. I SWEAR---It took LESS THAN TWO MINUTES (Literally)I turned the radio on and it worked perfectly. I love this product!!!

an easy repair
A quick and easy fix for a simple problem that would end up costing either a couple hundred dollars or several hours to repair. This took about 5 minutes. It seems pricey for such a small item, but it saves lots of time and/or $.
