Thankful for the demo
I hesitated to purchase this game because as a PS3, Wii, Wii U, and Xbox 360, and Nintendo 3DS XL owner, I find that I overcorrect on all racing games using the joystick/controller. The Wii has a horrible driving wheel, but the Xbox 360 is way better. So I was hesitant to even try this game, but since it came with a free demo and I love racing games...well....Okay, so being a typical girl (LOL) I'm certainly no gearhead so I can't talk about the models of cars I get to choose from but let me say there are LOTS.The game itself is really responsive and accurate to the thumstick controller. Forgive me, I'm new to video gaming 6 months in so I hope the thumbstick is the correct terminology. I played the demo and came in 5th place which for me is quite an accomplishment instead of coming in last and having my character get out of the car and shake his head in shame (F1 race stars, I'm looking at you (until I purchased the Xbox 360 wheel, at which point now I'm better)). I'm looking forward to more practice and hopefully actually winning a race. The visual on the PS Vita is amazing. Even on a mere 5" screen I feel like I can delve into the experience and ignore anything not on that screen (my sister walked right by me and I didn't even see/hear her). There are certainly alot of tracks to choose from; I haven't even tried them all.The tracks are varied and you don't feel like you're just going around in an oval; it takes awhile to finish a lap and the terrain, scenery, and all over feel is not repetitious at all. The game does a good job of giving you a feel for each area you are racing in, even if you have never been to that part of the world. If you like racing games at all, I say go for it! That's my 2 cents worth. Thanks for reading. :)

Awesome...
I am not a very technical guy when it comes to games...but this one is of the nice ones out there...The cars look and behave on the road as you would expect a real car would....lets not get carried away this is a PSV we are talking about not PS3....There are a lot of levels and races to go through and it is not easy at all...especially the Police Chases...Drifting was a bit tricky to get a handle on...but once you do...it is really fun to just skid sideways and keep collecting these points ($)....I think it will take a while to finish it all and collect all the cars...and there are really cool cars there....The challenging part is to win the car boost for the engine, brakes, suspension...etc You do not know when they will give it but it is invigorating to win them and boost your 400BHP car to 409BHP.....Go for it.....it is worth every dollar...

Good Time Waster,tWhile wait'n for something
Feels like a good racing game,Everything else Is weird though, Music's is pretty chill I played the demo from Psn an felt like its was a really good time waster for like..Sitting & eating for a train or something or waiting for supper to finish & brewed cuppa coffee.I'll revise it later in the year or so to give a better review:)

Best PSVita racer I've played yet.
With the exception of The Vita version of Wipeout, I think this game might be the best racer on the platform. The graphics aren't super great, but the screen isn't cluttered with text and graphics which require the player to squint either (NFS: Most Wanted, I'm looking at you when I say that). I find the sound of the "Nitro" to be really annoying, but asside from that and the graphics, I don't have any other gripes. The reason why this game is good is because it harkens back to the Burnout franchise before EA sullied it by producing Burnout Paradise. You get boost (called Nitro) for driving against traffic, drifting, jumping, and hitting opponents. There is an equivalent to Traffic Checking which they call Traffic Control, and what Burnout called a Takedown, is referred to as a Knockout. So many of the major game mechanics that made Burnout awesome are copied into this game. It's very Arcade style, no real simulation to speak of, but that's exactly what you want in this kind of game. The female announcer sounds more endearing than the male announcer in the burnout games, though her intros to various tracks do get repetitive. The AI players don't seem as aggressive as those in NFS too, which tends to make the game feel more balanced. The car selection seems limited, and occasionally baffling. I'm really not sure why a 4 door Audi Station Wagon made it into a racing game, or even why it has better specs (albeit fictional specs) than more performance oriented vehicles. Again, it's Arcade style, so you have to suspend disbelief.

Exactly what I expected an Asphalt game to be....
I’m a fan of the Asphalt series, and this one was worth it! Love the arcade feel of it, and progressing & upgrading through all the different races and leagues. Definitely recommend if you love racing games.

If you want a good racing game on Vita, turn away
Had too high of an expectation for it after the hitting the series on the DS and my other mobile devices. I have to say, for a racing game from the Asphalt series, the VITA one has probably got to be the worst. Graphics was a big drop for me. I mean, this is PSVita. The graphic quality from this game looks nowhere near what a PSVita is capable of or even near what an average PSVita game should look like in my opinion. Raced once and never touched it again and traded it in after leaving it to collect dust for too long. The overall control was spotty and the sound effects were poorly done in my opinion, and made me lose big confidence in the Asphalt titles. The music were okay though.
