so, I don't usually write reviews but I felt very compelled to write this one. I was looking forward to getting this lock. I was mostly looking forward to the fob and being able to lock and unlock my house from my car in the driveway. It specifically said you did not need to touch the fob to the lock. you do have to touch the fob to the lock. And the fob is just a little card like thing, there is no way to use it to lock the lock. So you have to get back out of the car to physically lock the lock. I spent hours researching a lock for my home, I picked this one specifically because of the job, and specifically because I didn't have to touch the Saab to the lock to get it to work. The way we are describing the lock is not the way it actually works. Additionally. in order to use the key feature you have to use tools to pry the face off of the lock. And it is not a regular key. There is no way to make this locks key work in other doors are home. You must have several keys. I am overall very disappointed. However it took 2 hours to install and I just don't have time to take it all apart package it all up and send it back. I would not recommend.

This lock is great! Easy to install, as long as you follow the easy instructions. It took maybe 25 mins from beginning to end. And that was me taking my time. Fingerprint access is definitely the best feature. Key cards loaded within seconds. Key cards unlock the deadbolt, as intended. I don't believe they're intended to lock the door. From the outside, the door can be locked by touching the lock icon on the pad or by auto-lock if that feature is turned on. Auto-lock has different time options to select from. The hidden key hole and micro-USB charge port is pretty clever. Unless you own it, you'd never know it's there. It blends in well. My only minor complaint is there's no voice response letting you know if the door locked or unlocked. But after using for a little while, you can recognize the sounds. Overall, it looks and works great!

It gets a star for arriving to the correct address.I purchase this lock February 13th 2020 and today is May 6th 2020Heed the warning DO NOT BUYAfter 9 weeks the lock no longer works ! The app say the door is locked BUT the door IS NOT LOCKED !GOOD THING I PAID FOR THE EXTENDED WARRANTY. However, I need to take the lock off and pay for someone to reinstall it again. I have insurance though Asurian. They will send me an electronic gift card for a refund...WOW that helps.Unless you live in China you cannot call for any assistance. This lock is for my front door AND I don't have time to wait for emails to go back and forth.HEED THE WARNING DO NOT BUY THIS LOCK.

This solves my problem with my house keys. I’m very happy and feeling safe with peace of mind. I have a tendency of leaving my keys in the door, leaving for hours then looking for my keys and find them on the door. I close the door and then forget to lock it behind me. This locks in fifteen seconds locks my door if I’m outside or insides. If I forgot my keys inside i can use my phone to lock or unlock, my finger or my code to do the same. If for any reason I’m unable to do any of these things my son can remotely open the door for me or for anyone else. And I also have keys. I love this lock. I am an elderly lady living alone therefore with this lock I feel protected and anything I do wrong I’m still SAFE. I highly recommend buying this lock for young or old. Now i never can do anything wrong with my door.

Like so many people that were swindle out of their money, for some reason you think that the bad reviews are just haters if there are so many good reviews. But be warned this product was cheaply made and will stop working after a few months of use. I really wanted to like this Lock it had all of the great features anyone would want. To be honest it wasn't working 100 percent of the time since we installed it but for convenience sake we put up with it you could spend like 2 or 3 minutes just trying to get your fingerprint to work. Forget about it if it is hot and your fingers are a little sweaty. The key compartment is really hard to get to so that's not an option and the batteries run out very fast. You have to replace every three weeks or so. I had to switch to rechargeable but then I spent so much time charging I was forced to get another set of batteries. I spent about $70 on rechargeable batteries and charger. Now I am down $220 and I don't have a working lock.

Suspect a lot of fake reviews here. The hardware is decent, but has perhaps the buggiest app I've ever run across. Keeps defaulting to China during registration & took about 15 attempts to get successfully through the registration process. Then it took about 5x to get the app to connect to the lock. Then was never able to get the fingerprint function to work. I own a lot of smart devices but have never seen so many "Operation Failed!" & "App failed" messages. Returning...

Product install went smoothly, except when I didn't read the instructions about the switch from right to left hand. (There is a switch marked L and R) which I missed. Setup was fast. The wife loves the fingerprint option (no keys or code when your hands are full). Fingerprint is the way to go, people can't steal your code or make copies of your keys. It is a mandatory option for me. Add that to the great price and the fact that it actually works as described with all the features and its clearly the best choice available.

This is a pretty nice smart lock, has a decent weight to it. It comes in matte black design on both sides. Love its multiple authentication methods including password, smart cards, fingerprint, and conventional keys. Was able to install it to traditional deadbolt without drilling a new hole in about 30 minutes. Just dont install the third screw foot to the lock itself. Still steady enough... It uses 4 AAA batteries. So far so good. Hopefully the battery last as advertised.
