Functionally Difficult, and sometimes impossible
Now either I'm using this drafting board for the wrong purpose, or it was simply poorly perceived. 1. Unless the scales (all different) are metric, they are useless for English measurements. 2. The 2 adjustable protractor, and the 45 degree angle slide NOT on The horizontal bar, but are notched to ride below the edge. 3. From the horizontal bar the 45 degree angle can only be used with the 45 degree angle on the right, and not the left side. 4. The adjustable protractor and 90 degree vertical tool also rides on the notch of horizontal bar, and does not allow for a line to be drawn from the horizontal bar, vertically as a gap of over an inch exists between the edge of the adjustable protractor to the horizontal bar. PROS: The tool seems relatively well constructed, the scales (such as they are) are precise. For use as a drafting board - this tool is fairly useless, and I certainly do not recommend it.
