Blue Yeti Shock Mount, Alloy Shockmount Reduces Vibration Noise Matching Mic Boom Arm, Compatible for Blue Yeti and Yeti Pro Microphone by YOUSHARES

If you read the lower star reviews people complain it doesn't fit the Yeti, or it's a bad design because their plugs broke while twisting the mic. This is user error and not paying attention to the design of the mount, then they blame the product for their ignorance. First, this is NOT used to reduce background noise, only a filter program or condenser will do that. This is used to reduce any vibration noise made while hitting your desk, mic, or swing arm.Second, this absolutely fits the Yeti. If you look at the pictures, some Yetis will come with a black insert with two notches in the bottom of the mic. Most people stating the mount doesn't fit haven't figured this out. This insert is to fit smaller swing arm mounts. If you have this insert use a screwdriver with a large flat head and remove the insert from the bottom of the Yeti. The shock mount will fit perfectly once the insert is removed, as you can see in the second and third pictures. However if by some craziness the mount still doesn't fit, you can go to the hardware store and buy a thread adapter for a couple dollars. Not hard, don't be lazy.Third, as you can see in the second and third pictures the mount is designed to fit the Yeti perfectly in a specific direction. This design allows the placement of your headphone jacks and mini usb ports perfectly. Once you've got the Yeti in place don't be dumb and twist it inside the shock mount while the jacks are plugged in. Of course you'll break them if you do. Derp, derp.Lastly, does it work in reducing vibrations of you moving around items or pounding on your desk? Yes it does. However keep in mind this is not a professional shock mount so it might not reduce the vibrations as much as you like it to.

almost perfect. they seem to run on the tighter side as i bought 2 for 2 different arms. and one fits snug the other is too tight to fully screw on but its fixed half way and feel like it wont come off on accident. good value. holds big heavy yeti with no problem

I buyed an arm for my Blue Yeti but not works so well so this Really helps with that problem.

Needs more clearance for cables but very good otherwise

While I cannot fault the product or Yeti, where this type of product fails for me is that there is now way to easily "mix" the USB aspect with analog or the computer's "system" audio. Thus, you are stuck with just one input- the Yeti. I needed simultaneously microphone AND system audio for my online class instruction. It seems no one makes a USB mixer for audio. Great for solo guitar, singer,etc who records then mixes in a DAW. Live mix, no way. Back to an analog (XLR) mic and input mixer (which is connected USB to the computer). Also, the mic is HUGE. Not sure it needed to be so big (although it does have the capability of multiple polar patterns - a real plus).

This worked seamlessly with my Blue mic and Blue compass boom arm. No problem with threads fitting the Blue Compass, everything just works. I never had problems with vibration intruding my mic but this shock mount seem to isolate the mic pretty well. I couldn’t get myself to spend $50 for the Blue brand and I’m so glad didn’t, this shock mount was $20, enough said.

BlueのYetiを使っています。元々据え置き用のスタンドもありましたがどうしても机の音をよく拾う。良くも悪くもしっかり伝えてしまって困っていました。そこで中華製の安いマイクアームを購入し使っていましたが結局同じ机に固定するとショックマウントなしでは机の音を拾い、アームの音も拾い散々でした。苦肉の策で使用する机とは別の棚にマイクアームを固定し伸ばしていたのですが、自分が部屋を移動するのに非常に邪魔で困っていました。しかしショックマウントを導入してからは普段使用する机にマイクアームを固定して使えていますので大変快適です。もちろん全ての音を防ぐ訳ではありませんがかなり環境改善されました。時期によって金額が上がり下がりしていたので安いときを狙って購入してはいかがでしょうか。直ぐに必要であればその限りでは無いですが、、、私個人としては早く導入するべきだと後悔しました。

Si tenías pensado comprar el Yeti caster, no lo hagas. No tiene nada diferente a este y la diferencia de precio no lo va a justificar. A menos que simplemente quieras darte un gusto y estés aferrado a comprarlo, pues adelante, pero no le veo mucho caso.Absorbe súper bien la vibración. La calidad del material y la construcción es buenísima. Yo lo uso con un brazo Neewer que también compré aquí. Muy recomendados ambos productos.
