After my old clock finally gave up the ghost I decided to invest in a new one and this model was picked. I liked it because not only is it a fairly large size in itself but the numbers are substantial too, especially the 12/3/6/9 which are almost comically large. At my age that's not necessarily a bad thing since I can easily see them from across the room. My old clock was significantly smaller and not only was it a noisy tick tock, it also lost time gradually. The ticking was annoying in the extreme, so one of my priorities in any new clock was silence. I have to say that I'm not disappointed in any way, it's absolutely silent. Instead of ticking every second this clock sweeps along majestically like a very expensive quartz wrist watch.Over the years I've been privileged enough to own one or two expensive time-pieces, and one of the things I always insisted on was accuracy. In the watch making world there is a certification for accuracy known as C.O.S.C. which basically means that the watch has to satisfy a strict accuracy of between -4/+6 seconds per day. Many expensive watches can easily achieve this, even mechanical watches, but I never expected a cheap as chips wall clock to even get close to that. My old one used to lose around 10 seconds per day which was accurate enough to give me a close enough idea to within a few minutes of what the real time actually was, I'd never have relied upon it for important timekeeping. I've now had the clock for 8 days as I wanted to give it at least a week to settle in and to get a consistent idea of accuracy. Within 2 days I knew it was going to far exceed my requirements as it had lost roughly 1 second in that time. Over the next few days I kept tabs as I knew it could vary with settling in/heat/cold etc. Now after 8 days the clock has actually pulled back towards exact, and passed the other way into "fast", if you can call 2 seconds "fast" !!! 2 seconds over the period of a week is incredible.To say I'm pleased is an understatement. Maybe I've been incredibly lucky? either way I'm not complaining and wouldn't hesitate to buy again.

This clock is really simple, a single AA battery, large clear digits, and a lovely very quiet smooth sweeping second hand. The dial layout is relatively clean and modern and fits right in to our living room. The clear cover has a nice matte finish which reduces reflections from the lights in the room, which is something I didn't really appreciate until seeing this side by side with our previous clock that it was replacing, which had a high gloss finish on the clear cover.

I am never sure wether or not to buy a clock that says it’s silent, but on this occasionit’s spot on. There is noise of any kind from it so a perfect for a bedroom where Ihave mine. The is plastic with a glass cover and works on one AA battery whichdoes not come in the box. I would highly recommend this clock.

I bought this for the grandchildren to learn how to tell the time. I also bought 4 or 5 others, most from Plumeet, and they are very very good. This one also is clear and easy to read, and keeps good time., but not a favourite with the children, hence the lower rating - but purely personal preference, nothing wrong with the clock..

This clock fits perfectly in my kitchen. The only thing was the image on Amazon seems to show a bit of white on the face of the clock between 9 and 12 which is not there. Maybe, I misunderstood the image.In any case. Great clock for my black & white kitchen

really like the raised 3d style numerals. Classy simple design. I got the white dial with black numerals. Seems to be keeping good time and totally silent which was the main reason for purchase ... too many people on Teams meetings said I should run before the ticking time bomb went off :)

Bought this for my husband and he was well pleased with the quality and size of this clock. He is using it in his workshop and loves it. Great size. Can highly recommend the product and the speed of service from the seller.

Good quality, silent sweeping hand is a nice touch, though strangely it reminds you how fast time is going by compared to a ticking second hand. Accuracy wise it gains approximately 10 seconds a month.
