Faulty Spellcheck
I appreciated that the authors presented a lot of information, supported by published research. However, I would have liked more practical recommendations based on that research. The recommendations that were given were too general. What truly irked me was the very poor editing. There were numerous spelling errors the most striking was the word “STATIN” in large bold letters written as “STAINED.”

Very big and too much
I bought this book based on the information given in the condensed version online and also when I saw the author on a health program. I usually find these books interesting and full of knowledge to help us be aware and live a healthy life. This book is very intimidating. The font is very small making it difficult to read or find passages to read. I am sure it would be double the size if the font was enlarged only a point, however maybe it might have been best to make two books out of that information. Nobody wants to give this a try so on the bookshelf it sits.

A WORD TO THE WISE . . .
This is an interesting and important book, I took a lot of notes. I'm surprised there are not more reviews. I initially received a PDF copy from an online seminar (which I think had been re-edited a bit), but then purchased the paper version from Amazon (cheaper by half than on the company's website at the time). I learned a lot and was reminded once again that our health care system is unfortunately run by money, at the expense of the patients. More and more, we must be our own advocates.(Be warned word-nerds, there are MANY editing errors, typos and some redundancies. I'm hoping that all their brainpower went into their research, at the expense of editing and book production.)

A Marvelous Resource
Although I do not have the time to write a lengthy review, I do highly recommend this book; if for nothing else, all of the critical medical tests that the author outlines. It is comprehensible and peppered with humor.
