Shark Wars #3: Into the Abyss

My son is only 6, but already on a 4th grade reading level. With such a difference in his age and his level, we struggle to find books that are entertaining for his age, but at his reading level. He loves sharks and this series has been a godsend. We read them together every night so we can discuss to help with comprehension. I'm 34 and sometimes when we finish for the night I want to keep reading because I cant wait to see what happens next.

I have a 10 year old that WAS a reluctant reader. I threw the recommended reading list away and started searching for anything that made reading interesting for him....first it was the Magic Tree house books....he read 60 of those, then started wanting something different. When we found this series at Barnes and Nobles, I searched Amazon for reviews and pricing. Got it cheaper here, and in 2 days (thanks amazon prime!!)....It was a little bigger chapters than he was used too, so the first book went slow....but after spending an hour glued to the last few chapters of book 2, he is very anxiously awaiting the arrival of the third. These books are a great way to get little boys interested in reading. ..and it's about Sharks!! What little guy isn't fascinated by sharks?? (My daughter likes these books too, but she likes all books and I never have a problem finding her something to read, both my boys were a little more difficult to get to WANT to read)

I liked the book. As the third book in a series it does a good job of making me want to read the 5tg

My son, 8, is an avid reader - he LOVES these books! I bought him one to bring to school when the year started and by the end of the first week, he needed another book!!! Anyone that is trying to get their son interested in reading should try this series...I know I'm far past due to buy book 4!

Great book for 10 year old

My 10 year old son loves these books! By the time they arrived we had found them at our local library and he had finished the book. Just something to add to his library now.
