good oem replacement charger for under $15
an affordable oem replacement for my dell xps studio; for some reason dell's laptop charger tend not to last too longer and I accidentally broke off the pin in the connector. was not about to spend another $30 dollars for a chargers; was able to find something that is under $15. it is what it is. it works as expected

Charger does not work for a DELL Studio XPS DL-STXPS 16
Purchased this charger as a replacement part for a DELL Studio XPS DL-STXPS 16. The charger is not recognized by the computer and will not recharge the battery. If plugged in to the computer, the charger allows the computer to operate but not recharge battery. After a short period of one hour use the charger was very hot. I would be concerned about a possible fire hazard if left plugged in for a long period. I do not recommend purchase of this product.

Not Dell studio compatible
Does not work with dell laptops. Error message calls this an unidentifiable power source. Computer will not launch windows and battery does not charge

Fit perfectly in my Father-in-law's Dell laptop and worked correctly. The old charger would power the laptop, but not charge the battery. This worked well. Some people noted that because it is the two prong cable that plugs into the brick part, the system tends to freeze for a second every 3-4 seconds. This was the case with this adapter as well. If you can find the three prong cable that plugs into the brick and the wall, which means it has a grounding wire, get that one. But this will work in a pinch.
