I appreciate the pelican offer lifetime warranty on these items and I would highly recommend especially when traveling by plane. This is made to fit perfect perfectly under most airline standards. I would recommend checking for your own benefit. But these are really sturdy and have some pretty good source to them. I did not get the padding for it, but the foam would be handy for more delicate things such as cameras. Material feels nice and firm well also offering a bit of extra room due to the lid. I would highly recommend getting this for any future traveling.

**Q: Is the built in lock TSA compatible?**
A: This case does not have a built-in lock. You are able to add your own lock through the loops.

**Q: “Is the depth of 11.7 inches consistent from end to end, or are there portions of the case that aren't as deep because of the wheels or the handle?”**
A: The 11.7" depth isn't consistent from end to end due to indentions necessary to accommodate handle and wheels.

**Q: Has anyone found a lid organizer for this model**
A: I don’t see how the 1615 fit, it’s about an inch too big all around, I bought one and returned it based on this response.

**Q: What is the maximum weight this can this hold?**
A: I put over 100lbs into the case and it handled it fine.
