Superb music 🎶 from one of the best singers. Jimmy Somerville is in top form on this great compilation of his hits.

There are some great songs on this cd. And with Somerville's instantly identifiable voice, he almost does a better job with the covers than with his own songs. Of course, that might be because the cover songs are just so great, but he really makes them his own. I don't know about you, but I can only take Somerville in small doses. so this album is perfect in a random mix where you never hear more than two in row. All of it is infinitely listenable, some even danceable. Strongly recommend.

This CD is one of my all time favorites. I have gone through Greatest hits CD x2 ! This one came slowly by mail but I was very happy to get it. It had no scratches and played perfectly. Anybody who loves the 80's like I do must have this in their collection.His Voice is brilliant and the songs are legendary!He is and still is a ground breaking artist especially for the Gay Crowd and people like me who support my Gay friends and Family.

If you like the Bronski Beat and Jimmy Somerville, this is the perfect album.

Jimmy has a wonderful\ beautiful countertenor / falsetto voice. He is also a songwriter and was in the great groups Bronski Beat and the Communards. I have all his CDs and what I don't have I will be getting.

I was going to buy the newer and more expensive 'Very Best Of Jimmy Somerville' until seeing the larger price gap and more importantly track listing which is nearly identical. In buying this version it saves you a tenner or so (present date), leaving the other for collectors of Jimmys Discography and his core fan base. This album exudes class and uplifts your mood with fast 80's beats (don't leave me this way, never can say goodbye, and all his big hits with Bronski Beat, the Communards all the way though his solo career (comment te dire adieu and read my lips.) A defining artist who sung on live aid and with that instantly recognisable high voice of his); Jimmy still Sounds excellent on today's laptops, and also as an MP3 file with crisp highs, a powerful fast bass rhythm and beats, genre leading vocals, and on a powerful set of quality headphones or in the car this gets turned right up, takes me back to a decade I grew up in which shaped my music tastes forever. 10/10to an artist with a superb voice

This is a fantastic showcase for Jimmy's talents. Every track is fantastic. I would recommend this cd to anyone who likes techno, pop or disco music. Jimmy Somerville has a wonderful voice and sings with passion and excitement. He's a consummate professional.

I recently rediscovered this album from Jimmy Somerville of Bronski Beat and Communard fame and can't stop playing it. This is a quality recording and in terms of style and content will bring memories of the 1980s/90s flooding back. Remember songs like "To Love Somebody", "There's More to Love than Boy Meets Girl", "Don't Leave Me This Way", "You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real)", "Never Can Say Goodbye" - if I carry on any more I'll risk repeating the track listing on this page but I hope you've got a flavour for some of the gems on this excellent disc. Recommended.

Really enjoyable, well produced cd, featuring Marc Almond duetting with Jimmy in "I Feel Love" and the amazing combination of Jimmy & Sara Jane Morris in "Don't Leave Me This Way". Also June Miles Kingston in "Comment Te Dire Adieu". Brings back the wonderful, happy, fun-feeling of the 80's, was it really that long ago? Added bonus - the lyrics are all in the sleeve, so there is no excuse, we can all dance and sing along, warn the neighbours, it will be loud, if only I could reach those notes! Long live the 80's.

How can you not give Jimmy a five? I am not his greatest fan but bought this for my bird! Having listened to this it goes without saying Jimmy is unique, his voice and persona like no other. In a world where talent is ignored by the media and crap T.V., people should listen to this too get prospective on talent. Maybe then a dog would not win Britons Got Talent!!!!
