Heats 10' pool a couple of degrees
I bought this to heat a 10' summer waves inflatable pool. It heats the pool a couple of degrees per day. I put the heater in a plastic trash can drilled with holes so that it doesn't melt the sides of the pool and keeps the heating element from melting the sides of the pool. I also built a solar heater. The solar heater will heat the pool 5 degrees per half day and this electric heater will heat the pool 2 degrees per half day. So I will put the solar and this electric heater on and 9am then at 1pm the pool will have gained 7 degrees. So together the solar and electric heater will have heated the small 10' pool to a reasonable temperature (79 to 86 deg). I live in Colorado. The temp drops to 79 Deg every night and these rise the temp to a swim-able range. I would souly rely on solar heater, but it is just sightly too cold. I need this electric heater to get it swimable for my kids. They don't have enough body fat to last 30 minutes at 80 degrees.

Can heat but not much for a 14x8x3 ft above ground pool even with 2 heaters.
The product can be used but just bear in mind, if you will use this to heat up an above ground pool size of 14x8x3, it will take you over a day to warm it up from 65 degrees to 70 degrees with 2 heaters. Yes, the recommendation was to use 2 heaters which I did and it trips the fuse every so often, so we used two different heavy duty extension cords plugged to two different electricity outlet. After about 6 hours, you will notice the outlets are beginning to be too hot that it creates a yellowish burnt area around the outlet so we will unplug it, and that makes the heating process stopped and water again starts to become cold before it can be used to warm it up to at least 72 degrees. We still use it once in awhile if the temperature outside drops to a significant low 60s. Also, our pool is inside our garage not outdoor so that helps to prevent the temperature to drop too low.

Great for portable shower heads
This made my shower water on my boat super toasty. Best on-board shower I have had in ages. This will definitely get me by until I get the plumbing and new water heater on the boat fully installed and operational. After that, I think it will make a great addition to my camping gear.

Works on small buckets
I was hoping it worked a lot faster than it does. To get water hot quickly you must only do about five gallons at a time.

Took longer
I was planning to use this to heat up my kiddie pool, but it takes a long time. I ended up boiling water instead.

It works
So we purchased this product to use while camping. What I didnt know was our generator is for 1400w and this product is a 1500w, so we tested it. At first it seemed to work and then it popped the circuit - however in short few minutes it did work our water got to a luke warm, so all in all great product & did what it says it will do.

Ok for smaller pool
Heat's up a small pool but not a larger one.

Not for reheating a bath.
Does not reheat a bathtub in 10 minutes.
