New to the Rec Specs family, the Maxx frames are both stylish and functional. They meet ASTM F803 impact resistance standards for racquetball, handball, tennis, basketball, squash, and paddleball. Note: Strap must be worn during sporting activity. The frames have a patent pending rimlock construction and are available in fashionable colors and clear or tinted lenses. Padding at the nose gives extra comfort and the 3mm polycarbonate lenses provide the ultimate protection for your eyes. All models come with a strap to hold them securely in place. The Maxx 30 and 31 are sized for adults, while the Maxx 20 and 21 are sized for youths.

The Cadillac of Protective Eye-wear
I use these for racquetball with prescription lenses. I use my own strap, but otherwise they're unaltered. These are simply the Cadillac of protective eye-wear for sports, especially for prescription lens wearers. I have taken hard forehands hits with a racquetball from under 15 ft. directly into the lens with not only no damage at all to me, but none to the eye-wear either! These things are the real deal for eye protection. If you want the best, this is it. Combine this with Leader C-Clear lens cleaner (from Boston MA) to minimize fogging and you have the best system available as far as I'm aware.
