For what I needed for it worked perfectly. Also adhesion is very good. Used it outside.

I gave this a try today. I used flex tape on half my leaking moon/sun roof on the car. (Not realizing one roll wouldn’t do the job) Flex tape was unavailable immediately through Amazon prime. This product was and it’s better priced. I’m sorry to report back this isn’t even close by far. The thickness is like regular duct tape, it doesn’t adhere to clean or painted metal very well, the parts that did stick came loose after a while. One pro it looks very nice but it doesn’t do the job I expected. My local CVS had one roll left (there seems to be a run on this stuff) of Flex tape. I’ll be removing (if it doesn’t fall off over night) this tape and replacing it with flex tape. I can’t recommend this tape. It doesn’t adhere to what I need it to. I’ll be returning the second unopened roll for a refund. Sorry it’s no good.

The photos show you can seal a plastic bucket - which is what I had. It shows you can apply it to something with a hole/leak already (meaning you can stick it to something while it is wet). I used another name brand patch tape just like this and it did work/adhere to the items while wet. This product did not. The whole bucket was wet, filled with water, and it did not stick to it no matter how long I pressed hard trying to get it to take hold of the bucket. The bucket was inside a hole, so I couldn't put the patch on the outside. Tape did not work - I should have bought the one I purchased in the past. The tape is pretty sticky, so it probably would stick to some things, but not for me.

The stickiness was just what I needed and the quality of the film was matched perfectly for the immediate car repair I used it for. The true test will come when it has to bear the impeding elements. That will be the true performance test.

I bought this tape to protect my railing fro ma hook that is causing a lot of pressure and moves. To avoid scratches this tape was the best recommendation I had. The hook now can move along the railing with a lot of weight smoothly and no damage is done to the railing itself.

Have ordered this tape more than once. Very strong adhesive. Have used to repair a car floor mat, cracked storage bin, garden hose, and several other items. Holds up well.

This is a thin flat PVC like cove base with adhesive. Rated glossy plastic. Not flexible.

Works great for patching holes in koi pond liner.

Used this on the roof of my car as was having sunroof issues... let me tell you it sticks really well ...didn't break down from the elements. Was extremely hard to remove.If you want it for holding or a possible leaky roof great product.

Didn't stick when my boots got wet! The tape may be waterproof, but the sticky stuff sure isn't! Totally useless because of that!
