small and portable
great value in a small container

A must have if you are into soft soldering!
I was intrigued with soft soldering after watching some YouTube tutorials. At first I didn’t realize how this very product was key to the whole thing. I immediately ran into issues, which I later learned came from dirty soldering tip. This product came to the rescue. A total game changer. As it turns out your tip gets quite dirty rather quickly which makes the solder not stick and when that happens you scrunch it in this can and it comes out clean and ready to go again.

Love this product, I have a hakko fx888 and my tips have never been more clean/ready to take solder. I highly recommend it. Great company and communication as well!!

Works great!
The brass sponge wears out eventually (as they all do) but the rosin at the bottom is awesome to have when cleaning the tip or if solder just isn't flowing right. I don't know why everybody else doesn't have products like this.

Works but doesn't last as long. Good quantity of flux for the tin size.
There's a generous amount of flux in the bottom which is really cool- however, the metal sponge is so small I've had it a week and it's already almost unusable from solder turning it solid instead of falling to the bottom. I'm going to try hitting it with the reflow iron and tapping on it to see if I can get some more use out of it because I haven't had it very long compared to the traditional, larger sponge sans flux.

Too small
For the price this is too small. It would be better if it were taller and contained more and more densley packed brass. I bought this to use with my x-tronic station and ended up taking the rosin and solder out and putting it in the container that came with the x-tronic. Much more reasonable to keep refilling it then to try and swap containers. The large size is more reasonable but still not really worth it 15$ and it’s going to be annoying to use and will slide around. I will just use the brass and rosin from it in the existing x-tropic container. Total I spent almost 30$ and really didn’t end up with much cleaning capacity.

Fits into sponge area on soldering station. Priced a bit high but product works.
