Le CreusetFoil Cutter, 3", FC100L2J-31 Black (Non Metal)

This foil cutter does EXACTLY what you want it to do—with no fuss. I recently bought another foil cutter because it looked nice and had a metal housing, but it always took multiple rounds to cut through the foil and turned out messy. THIS foil cutter has super sharp cutting wheels, is light, easy to position, and cuts all they way through on the first try. As the instructions say, you only need one quarter turn to get the job done but I say go one half around because who can guess one quarter while drinking wine. I couldn't believe my eyes at the clean cut and easily removed tippy-top of the foil that was removed. It does what you want. Le Creuset makes quality products. I had thought this was just a gadget they put their name on to sell product, but it lives up the their standards of quality. (I didn't shell out for the more expensive one housed in metal. I made the right choice. This one works beautifully.)

It's easy to use, specially when you don't have strength in your hands.

Sometimes you get what you pay for. Because the price of this seems ludicrously high I wasted rather more than that buying ever more expensive knockoffs none of which actually did a decent job of cutting foil. Most were 100% worthless.Unlike the look-alikes and the fancy stainless-looking ones, this one cuts the foil cleanly and easily without flexing and pinching. If you're thinking you can save money with a cheaper one, trust me, you can't. I urge you to benefit from my extensive (expensive) research and just by the Le Creuset.

Excellent foil cutter, requires almost no pressure to use, single spin cuts the foil on every bottle I've tried it on.I previously had one of the Rabbit cutters (https://www.amazon.com/Rabbit-Wine-Bottle-Cutter-Black/dp/B0001V2BD2), which never worked well.

The Le Crueset foilcutter is the best I've used. The blades are sharp and easily cut through all kinds of wine bottle foils, thick and thin.
