I use this on my kayak with an 8 foot paddle (I'm very tall). It stays out of the way. It's light and unnoticeable. It dries relatively quickly. I have no complaints. It comes with an eyelet that has a velcro strap to go around the paddle and the eyelet for the clip on the leash.On one occasion I was paddling along and saw a nice fish in the shallows. I threw the paddle down quickly and grabbed my rod. The paddle fell out of the kayak and I had no reason to be worried. I missed the fish, made a few more casts, and then grabbed my paddle and paddled along. I would like to get a second and use it on my rod but I have a 10 foot sit-in kayak and I believe two of these would become cumbersome in my little kayak.Most importantly, the red looks sweet!

Don't end up a creek without a paddle like I did. You really are dead in the water. I learned the hard way. This is nice and long so I am unaware that my paddle is tethered. Great value for money and great insurance against being up the creek without....

Perfect length, lightweight, easy to attach to life jacket and paddle. I have "lost" my paddle a couple times, so thought it would be a good idea to attach my paddle to myself. I have left the leash attached to my life jacket and reattach to paddle when kayaking.

Seems good, a nice length with a bit of elasticity. Stainless clips don't mind the salt, although you have to focus to unclip them. Black plastic balls rattle a bit in contact with the boat and I'm always concerned the velcro will give out of the paddle end. Hasn't happened yet though.

I went back and forth on whether I would need this, but I decided to use it because I take my dog in the kayak with me. I am so happy I did! My dog has lunged at ducks or other dogs and knocked my paddle out of my hands multiple times and this always keeps it near my kayak and keeps it from sinking while I settle her down. It's great quality and I ordered in red so I don't lose it.

I bought three of these leashes to use with my two stand up paddleboards. Two leashesxare for the regular paddles. One leash I put on a kayak paddle - for those who are not able to stand up on the paddleboard and use it in a sitting position. The leashes have been easy to put on the paddles and to clip onto the bungee cords on the paddleboards.

I really like the ease of using this leash. Adjustable velcro and holds well even when wet. Plenty long enough, does not get in the way while paddling.

Works great on my kayak paddle. I have used some from other companies and they stretch out but, they don't return back the to the shape they were. With this product, it is east to attach to the paddle and my kayak.
