Digifast M.2 NVMe SSD Docking Base - Silver

I needed a dock for the NVMe drive and ran across this by chance which at first seem like a very good tool to allow me to connect to my laptop....I was wrong.The concept is good however if you try sticking the drive onto this device feels like it’s gonna break because you have to push hard and this requires 2 hands to put in and take off, keep that in mind. Also it’s not a good idea to keep this on for long cause it gets hot, because it’s free standing there are no heat dissipation unless you have a fan blowing at it.Ideally I wish someone would make one that is flat like how it would sit/lay on a PCB where there is a heatsink. Laying down because it’s easy to connect and take out for I never Felt like I was gonna break the connectors when I’m putting it on a PCB.One day.....

Best dock i have so far. Simple to use just wish it had a longer cable to keep plugged in at my tower. But the fast to swap out the m.2s5/2/20 Update: I work in I T, so this product is very useful just wanted to say, that even though it doesn't look like ot there is a size difference between older m.2 and the newer ones sold today. The older ones do not fit in this. Just fyi.

Doesn’t work.Followed directions, tried with 3 drives, doesn’t work.

It's a little clunky with the heat sink that needs to be attached, but it does the job.

Mais en pratique j'ai été désagréablement surpris.Dans un premier temps je n'ai pas vu que la vitesse du dock n'était par exact, je l'avais utilisé dans un premier temps pour essayer de restaurer un SSD via une applications tiers. Ce qu'il a parfaitement accompli jusque la.Par la suite j'y est mis un autre SSD (un Samsung 970 PRO) pour vraiment le tester car il me semblait que les transfert de fichier ISO était plutôt lent et j'en ai profité pour le tester avec CrystalDisk et quelle se fut ma surprise...Un disque qui peux lire environs à 5000 MB/s dépasse à peine les 1000 avec ce dock.. Et je ne parle pas du reste du coup....Honteux pour un dock se vantant d'être en USB3.2 GEN2 (10 Gbps)La c'est du 3.0 Gen1 (1Gbps)Je ne met pas 1 étoile car il est stable et m'a aidé à résoudre un problème mais au-delàs de ca je ne peux pas l'utiliser pour autre chose.C'est un renvoi, je déconseille !
