Very good spinach powder.
While I can agree with some other reviews that this spinach powder is very powdery, I have found if I am very careful the powder mess is minimal or none. Keeping it in the original bag does seem to make the powdery effect worse so I transfer mine into an airtight container. At first, when I was using 2 t a day dose I did notice a very slight taste, but now I am only using I t a day I can barely notice any taste at all. I've been using this daily this for over a year and I am very happy with it.I recommend this Spinach Powder.

Goes great with Chocolate protein shakes
When I mix this product with my protein shake, it becomes almost tasteless, allowing me to benefit from the extra nutrients it provides. It's a great addition to my regular diet, which lacks some of these essential nutrients. Additionally, I include Psyllium husk powder in my protein shakes to alleviate constipation. I specifically use Optimum Nutrition's Extreme Milk Chocolate protein powder from Costco. To prepare my shake, I combine 2 scoops of protein powder with approximately 16 oz of milk. Then, I add a generous heaping teaspoon of Spinach powder and a teaspoon of the husk powder. Surprisingly, the mixture still tastes like chocolate!Just to note, I usually prefer Vanilla protein powder, but this particular chocolate option from Costco is exceptionally delicious.

container problem
The zip lock was connected to one side only. Unable to lock the container. Placed product in a ziplock bag.

Thumbs up
I feel like this brand is better quality than other spinach powders and it’s a better price. It seemed more fresh and had a rich color compared to the last one I tried. My dogs like it blended with blueberries and plain pumpkin seeds.

Yep, That’s Spinach
Very green and spinachy. A+ in spinachness. I can definitely tell it is in my smoothie, but that’s okay because I expected it, being that it is all spinach, and not a mixed-greens powder.

Do you like green eggs and ham? You can have them! Now you can!
Okay, I don't know how you'd go about making green ham, but you can definitely use spinach powder to make green eggs. Just add a tablespoon or so of spinach powder to three beaten eggs, scramble them, and voila--green eggs. In fact, spinach powder will turn most foods green, except tomato sauce, which turns a rather alarming shade of brown. (No, there's nothing actually wrong with it. It's just disconcerting to take a bite of something that looks like canned beef gravy and taste tomato.)If you've never used spinach powder before, here are a few things you should know about it, besides its obvious possibilities for Dr. Seuss fans.1. Yes, it's expensive, but maybe not quite as expensive as you think. It takes about a cup of fresh spinach to make one tablespoon of spinach powder. This one-pound bag contains about four cups (64 tablespoons) of powder. Those 10-ounce bags of fresh spinach commonly sold in grocery stores contain about seven cups, so the bag of powder is roughly equal to nine bags of fresh spinach. Furthermore, the powder won't spoil if you turn your back on it for five minutes, the way fresh spinach tends to do. On the other hand, you obviously can't make a salad out of spinach powder, so there's that.2. It doesn't taste good. It tastes like spinach that's been overcooked to the point of being bitter. (Then again, I suppose it tastes like overcooked spinach because it more or less IS overcooked spinach.) To avoid being overwhelmed with bitter-spinach flavor, use the powder sparingly. One tablespoon per smoothie or bowl of soup is plenty, and you may want less than that. However, it's less noticeable when added to foods with stronger flavors--I can hardly taste it at all in a bowl of lentils and rice with salsa. Also, if possible, avoid cooking it any more. If you're going to put it in soup, add it to the soup right before serving rather than letting it simmer in the soup pot.3. It's messy. It's a very fine, light powder that floats in air. Stick your hand in the bag to measure out a spoonful and you'll pull it back out covered with green powder. Try to pour powder directly from the bag into your bowl of soup and you'll have a ring of green powder on the table all the way around the bowl. And let's not even talk about the mess you're going to make when you try to transfer the powder into another container, which you're going to want to do because the zipper on the bag is flimsy and the shape of the bag is not at all handy for storing fine powder. A gusseted zipper bag just has too many crevices for messy green powder to get stuck in. (Tip: When transferring spinach powder into another container, turn off the ceiling fan.) Also, the fine texture of the powder may fool you into expecting it to dissolve in liquid, but it doesn't. It takes a good bit of stirring to get the powder fully mixed into foods, and a lot of not-dissolved powder will be stuck to your bowls and glasses and spoons when you're finished eating. So, should you buy this? Don't buy it expecting to add delicious flavor to your foods, and don't buy it if you can't stomach the idea of non-green food turning green, or red food turning brown as the case may be. But do buy it if you want a convenient, non-perishable way to add a little extra nutrition to foods. Also, if you have a fuzzy little guy named Sam-I-Am following you around pestering you to eat green eggs, don't waste the day arguing with him in rhyme. Just taste the eggs. Trust me, it's the only possible way to get rid of Sam, and besides, you might like them.

strongest flavor
The second best deal on amazon, but the strongest tasting so probably the best source of nutrients.
