This product did not heat up my phone. That's a real bonus! It's too soon to tell anything else but it is working well. Much better than the last one that didn't even last a year! Thank you to this company for creating a good product that is reasonably priced and dependable!

I saw some negative reviews and was concerned about it fitting correctly. I read up on the exact models the seller says it fits, and it fits great!! I didn't realize how worn out my old battery was after just 16 months, but during use my phone now stays much cooler! Only been using it a couple days, so far the charge lasts about 30% longer than what I had. A good investment.

Ordered this battery to replace my daughter's G5 battery we purchased in December 2016. The OEM battery was not keeping a charge, and this battery stated it was a 3500 mAh battery, compared to the original 2700 mAh LG battery. Seemed like a no brainer, after reading the reviews.Amazon delivered the battery within a few days. Big plus for them. However, when attempting to install the new battery (a very easy procedure for the LG G5), upon start up of the phone, it would boot, then turn off after approximately 30 seconds, with the "invalid battery" message. I searched on line for this phenomena, and followed several blogs on the issue. Pulled battery, checked battery terminals, checked/cleaned phone terminals, cleared cache (using the old battery), and after about an hour or so (approximately 15 attempts) to install this thing, I still do not have a good battery.I will be installing the old battery as soon as I am done with this review, and hopefully utilizing the 30 day return policy on the new battery (we will see if that holds up or not.) Obviously, I do not want to bash a company unnecessarily, but if you were to ask me today about this product, I would have to respond with a great, big no go. I will purchase an original LG battery tonight. As much as I would love to have a larger capacity battery, at least the OEM battery did work for several years, and the daughter had a dependable phone. Disappointed, but this is a small thing compared to all the drama our country is currently going through.

This battery was a life saver. It was easy to install and the charge is long lasting. Great value!

Bought this as a replacement and it worked fine at first. After 3 months, it started getting warm. I was having to charge it 2-3 times a day at a minimum. After 5 months it swelled so much I had to take my phone apart to get it out. It seems like LG G5 phones are brutal on batteries to me. I am on my 5th in less than 4 years with 2 more already on order.

The first two days I had this battery my phone stayed charged longer than it did auth the original battery that was no good anymore. Now it dies quickly even if I'm not actively using the phone

This batter works perfectly in my Lg G5! I was able to watch Youtube videos for almost 8 hours with battery saver on before having to charge my phone.
