UltraPro 12 inch Hardwired Under Cabinet Lights, On/Off Only, 2700K Warm White, Under Cabinet Lighting, Under Counter Lights for Kitchen 44109

This was very easy for me to install. I'm not super savvy with electrical installations and I managed to install this perfectly. I bought it to replace an old fluorescent light that was starting to smell like burning plastic. I use it to light under my cabinet as a kitchen, and as the light that I always keep on while I'm home, especially at night. I especially LOVE the three brightness levels. At night, and In the morning when I have my coffee before work when it's still dark, I set it on the warmest dimmest setting which is comfortable and gentle on my eyes. Then throughout the day I have it on the brighter cool settings. I was looking for a new fluorescent replacement and I'm glad I found this one. I was apprehensive about buying an LED because I was afraid the light would be too harsh, and you can't just change the bulb to a different light type like the old fluorescent fixtures. But the warm setting is perfect and exactly what I wanted.

The contractor installed under cabinet lights failed and had to be replaced. They were a name brand (Kichler) but the power supply failed on all four units over time. The UltraPro unit was a direct hardwire replacement, installed easily (2 screws) and allows me to match the color profile of the old Xenon lamp lights (2700K or warm white). They are also quite a bit brighter than the old unit which is helpful. High quality metal construction was a bonus.

I did like the product and its function as an under cabinet light. Works well. i was a bit confused by the instructions for dismantling the light fixture in order to complete the wiring operation. I thought I was following the instructions carefully but discovered I had totally dismantled the light strip from the fixture. I had to reassemble the lights to the fixture, then complete the wiring operation. I purchased 3, so the other two went faster. Also, the light diffuser/cover is very difficult to remove and replace. It can be done, but all three fixtures took me many attempts before getting them to come of and go back on. So, I am only giving a 4 star rating. But I do like the product functioning. Plenty of light with an easy to reach switch.

Used the 36" to replace two T-5s (21"+12") and it worked out great. LED is 16w, 1283Lumen; T-5s totaled 21w, 1220Lumens . Both are nominally 4100k but the T-5 is a little yellower. The LED is maybe 200 lumens brighter - for now, anyway.I would suggest when installing, don't stand on the floor and twist and lean in. Get up on the counter and lay down. Your back will thank you.

I had an electric outlet installed in my closet and installation was a snap. Might be a bit tricky with out proffessional help

Easy to install. Adequate light intensity for under cabinet lights.It comes with all hardware needed for the installation. Including a knockout clamp. It has 6 positions for knockouts.The only issue I had is that my electrician sent 2 sets of wires to each light and only 1 fits thru the 1/2" knockout. I would also suggest to use shorter screws for the clamp.

I like the brighter light. You can even change the shade of/color of the light.

Arrived on time. Simple to hookup but not enough room to hide the wires inside the unit. Colours and brightness are excellent. Would recommend.

I almost didn't but this light because several people complained about a lack of room inside for joining wires. I ordered it and expected this to be the case but it wasn't, there is tons of room. They supply connectors and it is a super quick and easy install. Nice light.

I upgraded fluorescent under cabinet lighting with these and similar to my other review of the 18 inch fixture these did not disappoint. Installation was easy and I especially liked the push to connect wiring. the three brightness settings allow you to adjust the light to the look you want.

Great lights, I just installed 5 sets of them - 48", 36" x 3 and 24". I bought these because1 - direct wire (120v) to replace my fluorescent lights.2 - dimmable using a separate switchA lot of the LED light kits that I looked at on Amazon were not direct wire to 120v. rather, they came with their own power adapter. Many of these are not dimmable, and the ones that are use their own dimming switch. I wanted to use the existing in-wall switch so I can dim and turn them all on at the same time.These were more expensive that many of the other kits, but none of the other kits matched my requirements.I'm not sure that all the complaints about the complicated installation are warranted. I suppose it often comes down to how much of a do-it-yourselfer you are. And, like everything, having the proper tools helps a lot! IE - fast clamps that hold the lights in place while you drill the holes to mount them. If you stagger the push in connectors (marrettes are NOT needed), there's plenty of room in the enclosure. Using a few extra zip ties also helps a lot for basic cable management.The first one took longer than the others, but after that they were very simple to install once you get on a roll.Would definitely recommend and buy again!
