Only Very Basic Information
If you are an amateur radio hobbyist and don’t know anything at all about the Raspberry Pi (RPi) then you might enjoy this book. I already have three of the RPi’s and use two of them with my ham radio equipment. I was disappointed with how little there is in this book. There are only 95 numbered pages and 16 of them are blank. The first half is on setting up an RPi and installing an OS. The second half is on how to install a few useful programs on it. That’s about it. I was expecting way more for $14. Most of the hams I know who have an RPi use it with DSTAR or DMR which aren’t mentioned in the book. I was hoping to find projects like those published in QST. Dissapointed.

Tad disappointed, but 5 stars anyways
Great for beginners, could have found everything online, but it is in a book so you don't have to go sifting through forums. I just wished it had more advanced stuff like how to get a signsl link working with the Pi
