It is definitely a premium product. I've used it for a week now for a lower back injury (herniated disc L5 S1) and it's definitely providing some relief.I've got one in the freezer, which freezes well without going too hard and still very flexible for comfort, and that lasted quite well on the skin.I've had the other one in the microwave, and finding that perhaps doesn't retain heat for quite so long as i'd hoped, but then it's no hardship to put it back in the microwave and go again. That said, the heat does provide nice relief and no risk of burning.It's nice and slim, not too bulky at all. In fact I use it daily whilst sat in my home office, with no issues or discomfort. It doesn't get in the way.My only criticism, and perhaps a bit picky, is that the inside face of the belt (the net area) could be a bit softer - the velcro strip can be ever so slightly scratchy if you don't get it lined up right when inserting the pouch. That said, the overall neoprene construction is really nice, stretchy and comfortable.Overall, I would definitely recommend this to anyone with a need for cool/heat therapy on the lower back.

I brought this to help ease the pain from a slipped disc, this is comfortable to wear and easy to use, it comes with two pads so you can have one for heat and one for frozen, I use both from the freezer, they freeze quickly and when you take them out they are not too solid where you can't mould to the way you need. This strap fits well and keeps the pad in the area needed which is great and this is the first one I've used that works this well. I have recommended this to family and friends and they too love this!. Definitely recommend.

I purchased this to relieve back and hip pain. It has been fantastic. It is easy to use - I alternate hot and cold press. It is comfortable. I forget I am wearing it and have even popped out still wearing it!!There is one problem that the company needs to try and resolve. That is the gel bursting. This happened to me even though I was using the microwave setting and timings suggested. That would be terribly dangerous for an older person. Looking at the reviews this does seem to happen quite a lot. It needs resolving as a design issue. I would want to recommend this to an older person with chronic back pain but can not because of this. I ordered a second belt because I could not find how to order spare gel packs. That information needs to be more clearly written in the instructions that comes with the belt.

My elderly mother hurt her back and was reluctant to take pain killers as she is on a lot of medication. I ordered this to be sent straight to her home and she was able to use it easily herself straight away. The velcro strap gave a perfect fit and as there are two ice packs she was able to rotate the packs so she never was without the cooling pad. It was very effective at relieving pain and the ice retained its coldness well. The product is not bulky and is light weight. It did not get sweaty or smelly in use.

Initially I bought one for my husband and it was really good. He feels so much more comfortable now. The quality is really good - thick and solid. As it worked for my husband I decided to buy another one for my daughter. She absolutely loves it.

Great when I first got this. Lovely and warm or lovely and cold, and the two gel packs means you can easily switch between hot and cold.But I only got around a dozen uses from this before the velcro wore out and it kept falling off. Very difficult then to keep it on as clothes peg etc ping off. Then, shortly after, the pack I used for hot ruptured in the microwave with all the hot internal gel spilling out.

My problem was a strained back muscle and I needed a pain soother. This was easy to apply to the exact spot, sitting at the side of my back and it remained in place so I was able to move around and do gentle jobs. Whilst rest is important but, who can sit around for hours doing nothing. The heat was comforting, perhaps I would have liked it to last longer before microwaving for a further minute, tried 1.5 minutes ( too hot for me) but wore over my clothes - not bare skin. I like the product and would recommend for a painful muscle.

Delighted! – this gel pack (x2) is just the right size and shape to relieve lower back/sacroiliac pain. The pouch and belt hold the gel pack securely in place allowing good transfer of heat, and make my lower back feel supported & less vulnerable. I wore the pack with just a T-shirt between me and the pouch, and it fitted easily and discreetly under clothes. I have been struggling with normal gel packs for the last month and this one has helped so much more. It covers a large area, is held securely in place, and the strong strap makes my back feel less fragile. I put the gel pack in the microwave for one minute and test the temperature with my hand to see if it needs a few more seconds. I definitely recommend this product. I’ve only had the product for three days so can’t comment on its longevity, but the product looks well made and the sewing on the belt is well finished.
