An amazing thrill ride to the dawn of time
Robinson has hit it out of the park once again. Flux features fun and diverse cast of characters trying to survive a dangerous trip through the mist of the past while also trying to discover the cause of the time flux. I was enjoying this book from the beginning, but about a third of the way in Robinson pulled the first of many twist to this intriguing tale, and I was completely hooked. I believe my words where something like 'It is on now'. The rest of the book does not disappoint. The story and characters are easy to follow (unlike some other time travel stories I have read), but every time the reader begins to get comfortable with what the story is and where it is going, Robinson puts a new twist on the tale. The ending of the book is satisfying while leaving open the possibility for a sequel that I really want to see someday.I would recommend this book both to new readers unfamiliar with Robinson's work and to long-time readers. The story of this book stand perfectly well on its own, but Readers familiar with Robinson's previous works will find themselves recognizing many themes and ideas. From The Didymus Contingency, to Recent works like The Others, Robinson has take ideas from his previous works (such as time travel) and delivered a new and different take on them. The creativity displayed in this work is amazing and I would love to see Robinson do this with more of his old ideas and themes. In conclusion this books is perhaps the best example yet of Robinson's incredible creativity. It is a time travel story that doesn't require a physics or philosophy degree to follow and it is an enthralling tale of a cast of character's survival through an absolutely fantastical journey.

great modern day settings and character studies. add in,time travel, history, technology and secret bases
I liked the small crossover nuggets related to some of the other series, Jon Hudson reference from project nemanus, 741, the others and flux have more nuggets. I don’t was to give out any spoilers.I like it not being space operas military detailed battle scenes, internal monologuesMy favorite stand alone was mind bullet, on audible.

Really good stuff
This Infinite Timeline has got me hooked. The pacing and the characters are impeccable. I was giddy over Delgado and Wini's appearance and can't wait to see how things go with the Other being out of it's own time. My only concern is that the religious element and the, "who touched my garments?", drivel will get more prevalent and sour me on the series. I really hope this series isn't going to end up being a whole big preachy Christian to-do. At the very least if you have to do the whole creator/gods thing at least don't make it as narrow, silly, and idiotic as that particular monotheistic fairy tale. Barring that I'm excited to read the next installment.

Time Travel Re-imagined
What would you say to your younger self, once you final met? What burning questions might you ask your future self if you met unexpectedly? In FLUX, some of the characters face these very questions.Heading security at a private research facility was an easy transition for Owen McCoy, following years of service in the US military. The facility was built in his hometown in Kentucky, providing a career that meshed with the comfort of familiarity. The only problem he typically faced was staving off boredom, as 21st Century rural Appalachia is not a region known for industrial espionage or violent revolts. Sometimes, however, people forget the pleasure are safety of boredom...A series of time shifts bring the facility Owen guards, and a fair portion of the town with it, on a journey through the past. It makes several stops, with the number of years between each jump's time location lengthening. Owen and his friends, some from his time and others he's gathered along the journey, need to puzzle out the cause of the shifts, how to stop them, and how to get everyone back when they belong. Unfortunately, some of the stops have gathered unwelcome, dangerous travelers as well. This story is not a retelling of H.G. Wells' story, nor a different version of Back to the Future. No, this is 100% Jeremy Robinson crafting an original, intelligent story that inspires readers to ask the question, what would I do for love? Moreover, this question is asked of several characters, and the consequences are as unique as the individuals. Yet, for those wondering if there are any monsters, you betcha! Although the pace of new releases from Robinson has slowed (which he has explained repeatedly to his fans), the pace of the stories hasn't. Taking plenty of time to develop characters and plot, there are numerous stints of action throughout the book. If you plan to read as few as 25 pages in a sitting (a near impossibility with this book), there will be some sort of action or high tension moment. Robinson grabs your interest, develops the plot and characters, and hits you with a new event over and over so that readers are never able to truly move from the edges of their seats.

Onward We Go
This one just didn't really work for me. Not sure what it was, but it lacked a lot of the flow that many of his other books have. I know that in a large series like this they can't all be winners. But this one was really pretty mundane. I guess you have this Other concept introduced there. But it's a little sporadic and left field for my tastes. I still love his work and will read the next one. But this is a necessary step to get to #4. Onward we go!

Wow!
This is only the second book by this author that I have read. His stories are different not the run of the mill. The characterisation is brilliant I have seen none better. You really care about the people as if they were living breathing people. He certainly makes the unbelievable believableAll that is left to say is I have a new favourite author.

A peaceful Kentucky Backwater...
Yeah not for long. Another well written and brilliantly concieved book by one of my favourite authors.Fast paced and clever, with a good few laugh out loud moment for good measure. Things get pretty strange in this story, pretty quickly. I'm not going to give the plot away (read the synopsis). Even as an experienced Robinson reader, this one kinda blew me away.I went through virtually every emotion whilst reading this book, and thoroughly enjoyed it.
