I bought this product because I have Lupus and Fibromyalgia and live in Northeast Ohio. Our weather has been up and down which is the worst thing for people with body and joint pain. I can't tell you what a huge difference this had made in my life. I put it on high to get really warm, right before bed. I turn it down to about 2 or 3 before I fall asleep. The auto shut off is a great feature. I have an adjustable bed and have been able to use this every night without a problem. The heat that this provides is a God send to any one with chronic pain. I am able to fall asleep with significantly less pain and am able to stay asleep. I would highly recommend this product to anyone even if you do not suffer chronic pain. It is very nice to get into a warm bed on these cold Ohio nights!

This was wonderful for a couple of months. The heat felt like a natural heat, not like you were laying on a heating pad. It worked wonders for my back. Then it stopped working intermittently. The lights would flash on but go out almost immediately. I tried changing electrical outlets but the same thing has been happening. It is now off more than on. I don't know if I want to take a chance on buying another one. I'd like one that works all the time!

Here's the 3 month update: the controls on both sides of the bed have stopped working. So nice try, but another fail!!! I use heated mattress pad about 8 months of the year and in the past they have lasted maybe one year, maybe two at most. I've mostly been using Sunbeam. I got this one because the reviews seemed better. So far so good, fingers crossed that it lasts longer than previous models. It heats up well, holds the temp, and is comfortable. I'm looking for longevity, hope it lasts.

I purchased the dual control heated mattress pad for my daughter and son-in-law since my son-in-law is always cold and my daughter, not so much. Not only has my son-in-law's sleep improved as a result of sleeping on the heated mattress pad but he has experienced the added benefit of back pain relief. We also found that the pad washes and dries beautifully because, as we were putting it on the bed for the first time, our puppy had an accident on the pad. We promptly removed the pad, threw it in the washer then the dryer, adhering to the manufacturer's directions, and it came out as good as new. A win - win all around.

Worked for about a month, then the controller lights would flash once when you go to turn it on and then it wouldn't operate. I thought there was an electrical short in the controller, but this seems to be such a common problem...I looked at the instructional booklet on how to do a factory reset ( unplug, then hold the power button while plugging it back into the wall outlet) and IT WORKS AGAIN! I am not thrilled about having to factory reset this item every few months, but it beats having to throw the item away. The only other issue I am having is that the pad doesn't stay on for 10 hours like it claims to, it appears to auto shutoff every 3 hours or sometimes less for me. Not sure if this is operator error, but I couldn't find any clear reason why this seems to be happening or how to fix it in the instructions. By the time we notice it has shutoff we have already fallen asleep though, so it hasn't bothered us too much. Other than this issue,I like the product. It is comfortable to sleep on and does a good job of warming the bed.

Issue after 3 months on use. The button to turn it up has broken and gets pressed while just sitting there. To use the pad I have to keep the contol upside down.They say they have a 5 year warranty but I have looked all over online and their website and there is no way to contact them to make a claim.It is soft and works well (other than the issue), but if you have problem you just have to buy it again so I would not recommend.

I do not know who likes this mattress pad more: me or my cat. It is super comfy and the timer is long enough that it stays on the whole night! Hopefully it will last the rest of the winter, because I really like this one in comparison to ones I've owned in the past.

Ordered 2 twin xl for split king bed. Worked good for about 4 months. One will not even come on and the other one will light up when turned on but shuts off in about 1 1/2 minutes. We have had and still use heated mattress pads for probably 20 years and they're all still working except these. We have 4 other brands and they work great.
