Much less expensive than OEM
This motor replaced an OEM Genteq/GE HC45AE118A that failed due to worn bearings. So far, it's been working great! It was $200 cheaper than the OEM part too! It DID come with the 10MFD 370V capacitor in it's own box. As others have noted, during install, consult the wiring labels on the old versus this new motor. The yellow and blue wires are MED LO and MED HI respectively on this motor. OEM motor wires were the opposite wire color. My air handler was a Carrier 58MCA120-20.

Good motor
First the easy of installing really depends on the job..am I right? This motor for me has been really awesome. I knew when putting it in. The odds of it dying quickly were high because the round fan blade was out of round and not balanced. Hitting the fan assembly. No choice in the matter until I got a new round fan blade and a new Fan assembly. So either the motor burns up eventually or bearing go bad or makes it until the parts come in. It's still working as of the write. The metal hitting metal has worked itself out from the girding to a working vibration. I still have 5 days until parts arrive... and I bought another one of these motors to have a new install.

Perfect replacement for GE 5KCP39PGS171S
I used this motor to replace the Blower motor on my Carrier WeatherMaker 9200. It was a perfect fit and worked great. It is quiet and I hope the ball bearings are better than the original motor that had bushings. The only thing I changed is the connectors. It came with uninsulated flag connectors and I put in insulated connectors to match the original motor. The flag connectors may have worked, but I didn’t want to find out. Just like previous posts mentioned, the yellow and blue wires are swapped from the original motor, but no big deal. You just plug them in differently. Great product and great price!

Great replacement option for the Carrier PN HC45AE118 or Genteq 5KCP39PGS171S
I used this EM3466 (economaster brand) motor to replace a failed GE (now genteq) 5KCP39PGS171S motor (also Carrier PN HC45AE118A) and it fit perfectly and is working well. The motor included the new starting capacitor, as well. This was in a Carrier furnace 58MCA120-20 (also shown as 58MCA1720---14120, series 140). The EM3466 features ball bearings, and not the sleeved bearing of the original. For my installation, I did not have to modify the motor in any way - it fit right it place. As I noticed others referencing elsewhere, the Med-High and Med-Lo wire colors are swapped on the EM3466 vs. the original GE/genteq motor - so be sure to make note of that as you are determining which wires to reconnect.

Great replacement to HC45TE114
Only installed for a few days, but so far so good. I used this to replace a carrier/bryant HC45TE114. It's 1/3 the price for the same major specs, came with capacitor and runs more efficient at 9amps instead of 11. We'll see if it holds up but so far I'm impressed! I did have to buy a 4 leg "belly band" mount as the original motor had a welded bracket that couldn't be removed. Shipping was next day, a very nice bonus.

Works great
As another reviewer said it does not come with a capacitor so you will need a new one of those. The motor works great in my Armstrong air (Lennox) furnace blower motor.
