This is just such a fun romp through the trials & triumphs of cosplaying. As someone who is very fashionable & does occasional cosplay (no big deal, just takes on The Joker, The Punisher, Deadpool, Batman, & a generic CIA/FBI/DEA/ICE field agent), and as someone who is very close with several drag queens (ah, I love them, we always have so much fun!), I can attest to how damn hard cosplaying is - physically, emotionally, & socially. It can really overwhelm you - trying out various new items, trying to match perfectly with that one special comic page you love (or that favorite video game scene), can really take a toll on you. You aren't just trying to look GOOD, you are trying to look PERFECT. You are attempting to BECOME that character you are emulating. Anything less than complete & total perfection makes you feel like you have not only let your public down, you've failed yourself, & failed anyone who helped you don your accoutrements. I really like how this story not only shows the ecstasy of getting the character right, but the agony, as you lose sleep over worrying about costs, about deadlines, about shows, about those you may be working with. This is really spot on. So I commend the author. Very well done. Art, immaculate. Dialogue, fantastic. Characters, believable, likeable, relatable, adorable.

I’ve been collecting the My Dress-Up Darling manga recently, and I absolutely love this volume! It shows how Marin and Gojo attend a local cosplay convention with Marin’s newly-made Shizuku-Tan cosplay! The volume arrived in great condition with plastic wrapped around it with no tears, smudges, creases, or mis-prints. I 10/10 recommended and will be buying the other volumes!

Great manga

It held up greatly to the first volume, and surpassed it to the extent. A wonderful read with a budding flirty romance (to an extent, not as much as the later couple of volumes) with great comedy between our two protagonists, and gorgeous art of our main girl.

While the series visiuals can be a bit fan-servicey, the overall story is actually pretty wholesome. But it is a great motivator to start a craft hobby.

La calidad del libro o manga es lo común y lo esperado en general, buena impresión, buena portada brillante, tamaño un poco más grande de lo normal (lo cual me encanta, el manga es más grande que la mayoría de mangas de otras editoriales que personalmente poseo, gana por 1" de diferencia más o menos) y con una imagen a color en papel fotográfico en la 1ra página (desconozco si es normal eso), en general, me gustó mucho, no es nada premium ni ostentoso, pero es muy bonito:D

Such a good manga! Don't buy on Amazon though as it came in bad condition.

Watched the anime and this was just as good if not better really had me sucked in great read 5/5.

This series is really cute and just generally a fun high school slice-of-life story. Minimal stakes make for an easy read and a soft escape from reality.I gave it as a gift and they love this series.

Es un gran manga que cuenta la historia de Marin y Gojo. Una estudiante bastante hermosa y popular que quiere hacer cosplay y un chico que sueña con ser un artesano de muñecas pero que carece de confianza.La historia se supone es una comedia romántica, pero realmente hasta ahora no ha habido mucho romance, pero si enfasis en los personajes y el cosplay es muy bueno.Ver todo el proceso para hacer un traje cosplay es fascinante y el arte del artista ayuda mucho a dar esta visión y ver interactuar a los personajes y sobretodo a Gojo sobrellevar sus problemas para ayudar a una chica que apenas conoce es bastante bueno y en ocasiones impresionante.Es un gran manga si les interesa el tema del cosplay o si quieren leer algo con buenos personajes.

For a second hand book, this book came in such good condition. I was really impressed.The manga was amazing and I loved every bit of it, the anticipated turns had me wanting the whole series, I was really happy to purchase this book from amazing, rather than other places.A good price and good quality, I couldn't have asked for anything else.
