FIRE HAZARD!!!!
This thing damn near burned my house down. All I had plugged in were two phone chargers. Killed every outlet in my room at about 4:30 this morning. Luckily my house didn’t burn down. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!

Unnecessary sticker is unnecessarily hard to remove
It’s 2019, why are people still including electronics with unnecessary stickers on them. I spent a good 5 minutes slowly peeling the sticker off the front avoiding tears as best I could but alas I failed. Now I’ve got to sit here with rubbing alcohol trying to remove the remainder of the sticker but will likely be stuck with unsightly residue. Why would you make a product and then ruin its look with a sticker?

Falls out of wall
While it technically works, the adapter isn't sturdy enough to handle heavier cords and kept pulling away from the wall. Also, the width of some plugs made using the outlet next to it, difficult--if not impossible. I bought this and an Amazon brand for my kitchen and only ended up using the Amazon one there. I moved the Phillips to my bedroom, but I have the same space issue--just with a nightlight.

Terrible sticker on product
There is a terrible sticker on the product for advertising the night light through the packaging. The sticker took 20min to remove with my fingernail and required “goo gone” to get it all off. It left the product all scratched up. I could have left the sticker on it, but it looked ridiculous.

Very very disappointed
I’m not impressed. I’ve purchased off brand plug in charger/nightlights that are less bulky and look better. It was virtually impossible to remove the stickers on both units. I really tried hard to not ruin my manicure when peeling off the manufacturers’ stickers to make this thing presentable to no avail. I tried using many different methods to get the stickers off and nothing worked. I don’t get out often to get a manicure so you best believe I did my best to get these stickers off as gently as possible and NOTHING worked. I had such high hopes that this thing would light up my way to the nail salon but not so. If you have kids and are interested in the night light feature, don’t count on this thing to light the way. Night light is super dull and you might chip your damn new nails when you trip over that pile of laundry in your hallway like I did

Do Not Buy! Un-removable Sticker!
I am throughly disgusted with this outlet that I cannot even tell you if you works or not. It comes with this “nightlight” sticker smack in the middle of the outlet that is not only impossible to remove (see attached pictures) but also leaves a residue. The brand “Philips” is not shown underneath the sticker as is shown in the pictures for the product. This sticker has no purpose and is ugly. Unfortunately I threw the packaging away otherwise this would have gone straight back. I threw it away out of frustration.

OK for lightly used receptacles
This adapter does not have a way to screw to the receptacle and it has only a single connection for the top outlet of a receptacle which limits its use to electrical devices that are left plugged in all the time. It does have a light to indicate that the MOV chip is still intact though I would not trust it 100%.When the MOV semiconductor used on these cheap surge protectors does blow the current can travel down the ground line and badly damage anything that is plugged into the protector. It is fine for use with inexpensive devices that can be easily replaced but I would never trust it for anything of value.

Fantastic Product that only falls a bit short
The product functions perfectly, as advertised by Philips. All the reviews complaining about the sticker should be taken down, Philips has since rectified that packaging problem, or at the very least the 6 outlet/2usb port model does not have that issue.I purchased two, and the one that I was able to insert into an outlet correctly works fine. Unfortunately, my apartment is slightly older, built in 1990. The GFCI outlet in the kitchen seemingly has the outlets themselves spread further apart than normal, as the grey support peg did not line up correctly with the bottom outlet's ground hole. But, even after breaking it off and filing the nub down, it's held strong with no issue whatsoever. It's easy to blame the adapter for what could easily be the fault of an aged plug.TL;DR, you get what is advertised, check your outlet spacing if it's a GFCI outlet, and remember this is only rated for 900 Joules. Don't expect this to protect much more than small electronics.

Fuses Blew Out
I bought 3 of these for use at our garage- in 2 of them- the fuses blew out which also blew out fuses of my laptop chargers. Not totally impressed to be honest- perhaps they would work better for lower energy use areas like a night table but I don't trust these anymore since it cost me over $200 to replace everything that got electrically destroyed. Back to using Power Bars for me

What an absurd choice of form factor
These seem to be working so far. I notice they emit a faint but noticeable high pitched sound when plugged in. I hope that’s normal. Seems to happen with a lot of surge protectors.By far the biggest problem here is the form factor. Why the rounded back? Not only is it the part of the unit you don’t see, it means it will never be stable. It rocks the entire outlet back and forth whenever I try to plug or unplug anything. Who approved this? It’s not a comforting feeling to have your electrical outlet move around like that. No other surge protector I’ve owned does this.On the plus side, vinyl bumpers exist. I found applying four of them like in this picture increases the stability of the unit (depending on your outlet style this placement might not be ideal, the outlets here protrude slightly, YMMV). If you get this I recommend using these for stability. But it begs the question, why is it like this in the first place? It’s such a basic design flaw. Philips is a reputable brand. It makes no sense.

Needs a couple of improvements, but good
Pluses:- Feels like a quality product.- Has USB charging, night light, and 3 plugs, so it's useful for travel as well.Night light is medium strength. I've had brighter, but also much dimmer.Problems with it:-has a promotional sticker that won't come off (see picture)-has a plastic stick (for where the bottom plug's ground would normally be). This is a problem in non-standard double plugs, as you can't plug in at all (without alterations). Plus, why waste even one plug if you don't have to?I had to saw off that stick.

Safety hazard for unplugging
I love the look. Only poblem ihave is whenyouwant tounplug something, the whole device comes out of the socket, disconnecting everything that is connected to it. So you have to use one hand to unplug the wire and the other to keep the device in place. To do that, your hands are pressed over the sockets which isnt safe. They should make the device havea tighter fit so it does't come off the wall while unplugging.
