We bought this for my daughter's homecoming and it fit perfectly. We did measure about four times on her. We also measured some of her existing clothing also. I then looked at the size chart and went more off the bust size than the waist size for her. I knew the waist would be a little more forgiving than the bust in this dress. The fabric of the dress is not stretchy at all. The red is a true red and absolutely gorgeous. The crochet lace overlay just adds to the classiness of the dress. She wanted something very different than all the other girls would be wearing to homecoming and she got her wish. She looked like she stepped out and was attending a 1950's formal dance. The dress itself flowed beautifully but we added a black peekaboo petticoat and it made it all the more beautiful and classic. We will certainly be buying from this vendor again. For measurement: 5'4 120lb and she fit perfectly in a size small.This dress is so perfect and a steal for the price. My daughter and I were about to pull our hair out looking for a dress for her Confirmation. It is so hard trying to find a teenagers dress that is white, sleeved, and goes to or below the knee. The lace is soft and stretchy. It does need a slip or undershirt.

I read reviews about similar Anni Coco dresses before I placed an order on this on. I am 5'10" size 12/14 with a large ribcage. I generally wear a size L dress, but ordered a XL which fit me like normal. The dress comes to about my knees. It doesn't static cling to my body nor is the under-layer see through. The arm holes don't pinch into my skin. For reference, I am wearing racerback sport attire under this dress, which you can see from the back and isn't part of the dress.

I bought this dress for an August wedding. It was comfortable, stylish, and beautiful. I am 5'7" and somewhat large in the bust. I normally wear a size 14, and the extra large fit perfectly. I was nervous to purchase this because I have had trouble with the fit of other dresses. For some unknown reason, manufacturers seem to think that an extra large dress needs extra large arm holes, and I generally have to either reject the product or have it tailored to me. This was most definitely not the case with this dress. It fit! I received many compliments on this dress. It has that something extra that distinguishes it as a rare find. It is comfortable, and yet elegant. The "lace" overlay is fused to the under dress. Be careful to not snag it. I did, but luckily I was able to cut the thread and tie it off. I own the Black and Blue dress, it is as pictured on the website, a rich royal blue with a deep black lace. There are no cleaning instructions on the dress itself, but hand wash it in cold water and then line dry.

My measurements are as follows bust 34, waist 28.5, and hips 36. According to the size chart in the picture, that means I should fit the medium best. I was so excited to receive it today, but I am quite disappointed after trying it on. It is much too big for a medium. The dress's waist actually measures at 30.5in, and the fabric has quite a bit of stretch to fit even larger. I could pull it off over my shoulders without pulling down the zipper, that is how big it is. I ordered this for thanksgiving (tomorrow) and Christmas pictures next week. I am either going to have to alter it on my own tonight, or request a refund and find something in stores tonight.Other things worth noting. The dress is not lined at all, and the fabric is quite thin. Expect to wear a full slip or a camisol and petticoat. The skirt is also quite large in hem circumference, so if you want a full skirt expect to wear 2 or maybe 3 petticoats. Only 1 gives it a very modest shape. The fabric is also lightweight, but some might mistakenly perceive it as heavyweight fabric simply because the skirt does use a lot of fabric.The pattern is very pretty and the fabric is not itchy at all.

I am 5'4, 135 lbs. 34DD. I usually wear a size 8-10 or medium in women's dresses due to my chest size. I ordered a medium in this dress and was skeptical not to get the large but I am glad I went with the medium. There is enough stretch in this dress I may have been able to wear a small. The medium has a little room in the chest and the waist is about two inches too big. Having said that, the cut of the dress and the way that it lays masks this pretty well. It will also leave room for a petticoat should I decide to fluff it up. The fabric is surprisingly light and in the light you can dimly see through the dress, so it will need a slip. Super cute and comfortable. The bow accent is not overdone and compliments the style. I may order the white one, too.

The red dress in this listing looks different from the other colors, and I don't know what's up with that. But I ordered the red and got what I ordered. I'm 5'9" and 225 pounds, and I bought XXL. This is pretty much my favorite dress right now. It goes past my knees, which is unusual for me. It's comfortable and sturdy, and it drapes great. I'm wearing it with a crinoline in this picture, but I wear it to work without one. I do recommend some sort of concealing undergarment, because it's the tiniest bit sheer, especially if your bra has a print.

This dress is absolutely gorgeous. Great material lovely pattern very comfy and flattering. Arrived very quick and great value for money. I would say I'm a size 12-14 at the moment, and I feel shops size 12's and all sizes for that matter are getting smaller and smaller. However this dress is true to size it's amazing, I ordered a size 12 and was nervous about the fit. The dress arrived I slid it on and the zip glided up like a dream. Perfect for all shapes and sizes to make you feel fab! I would reccommend to anyone.

When ordering this dress for a wedding I was attending I was a little dubious as the price was amazing, how delighted I was. ... not only was it delivered super fast it was packaged beautifully and fitted amazingly I'm a 14/16 and ordered an XmasThe only downside, it was see through but not a problem I love 50s fashion and ordered a deep blue 50s petticoat. ..wow it really did look fabulous!!One very happy customer 😊😀

This is not an expensive dress and you get what you pay for. It is not a 'vintage lace' dress, the whole thing is made of acrylic knit. Only teenagers will get away with wearing this at a formal function, it is not smart enough for adult women. I am normally a British 10-12 and bought the large size which was the correct choice. At 5'7" the dress comes about 2" below my knee, although the waist is a bit high on me. It is also rather see-through and could not be worn without an opaque underslip.

Really lovely dress. Fabric is of a good quality and overall the dress is very pretty. Unfortunately I couldn't keep it myself, because it was too big. I'm a size 12/14 top and 14/16 bottom. The XL was a little roomy, though generally fine around the bust, but way too large around the waist. So if a size 12/14 I would suggest to go for the L. Would not hesitate to buy from this seller, as both the quality of the dress and the resolution in regards to returning / refunding the dress were very good and helpful.

I love this dress, it's not my usual style but i've always wanted a dress in this style .The heavy material means that it doen't get flapped up in the wind and it's a really warm dress to wear. I love this so much. It's tight on you so it doesn't move about, but if you don't like a tight dress i would reccommend you get a bigger size than you would normally wear.

Looks lovely but is a bit too large and long for me.I already used it once and looked nice but It will look better with a belt and higher heel shoes.Except for the bow-tie coming loose on on side, which is easily fixed, the quality of the dress is excellent for the price and it is very comfortable to wear.

Beautiful dress and arrived promptly in good packaging. Sad thing - too small even though I went a size up. The dress fit well, however, if you are slightly bigger breasted - the zip won't close. This dress would be fantastic with an elastine type material. Unfortunately I had to return it.

Dress is lovely ❤️ I am between a 10 & 12 and after reading previous reviews ordered a large . It's slightly big round the waist but fits my bust which is strange as I am only a 32DD cup. The dress is well made and will look great on my upcoming cruise. I recommend the dress for pear shaped ladies especially

For the money this dress is gorgeous, perfect fit, excellent quality,expensive feel material. I can't praise this dress enough. I wore it for my niece's wedding and so many people complimented on it. It feels and looks more like a £60 dress. Definitely order from this buyer again.

I bought a larger size after reading reviews (I'm a size 10) and it paid off. It is a loose 10, I'd say it would fit a 12 too. I bought the red one and although it's a nice shape I found the colour a little too bright for me. I'll still be wearing it but I do wish it was a richer red.I really like the material and shape, and I'd recommend a petticoat.

Dress arrived on time and fits well. It does look slightly different to photo - darker in reality. To gain the full effect of the dress, I wore with a tutu petticoat underneath to fill it out a bit. It's an OK dress - nothing major to shout about from the roof tops and I will wear it again.

Very pleased! I bought the black one and it's lovely. It is see through but it's fine on the bodice as a black bra covers the bits that need covering! I'm also wearing a layered petticoat underneath so fine. You wouldn't be able to wear it without a petticoat of done sort though.

I followed other reviewers advice and ordered the XL. I am a size 14/16. It fitted perfectly, I am 5'4'' and it comes to mid calf which I like. The fabric doesn't crease and it does need a slip underneath, but that is not a problem. The bow looks a bit silly on the front, but I am going to snip it off and add it to the back under the V neck. All in all, a great dress for the price.

Bought for my 14 yr old daughter who likes vintage clothing in black , it was for a sflute recital . The dress is very pretty but also thin so a black vest top was worn underneath just to hide the modesty. The skirt isn't as full as you might expect but hangs well nevertheless.The length is also a mid length ( she's 5' 5") perfect for her age . The dress is worth the money so if you are looking for a cheap dress that's tasteful this might be for you !
