Mighty PawDog Collar - Neoprene Padded - Reflective for Running - Extra Comfort for Active Pets Dog Collar Swimming - Comfortable and Padded

My poor pup has very thin fur on his neck and every collar we got him always cut him up. He has been wearing this collar for a couple of weeks now and no more redness or scratches! The neoprene on the inside goes all the way around with no pokey spots.The only issue we ran in to was sizing. He appears to be in between the sizes. The large was too big and left velcro hanging off the end, would definitely have been getting caught and pulled at. We returned for the medium and found we need it at the very largest to make it work. It is working though, so we are happy, just wish there was a little more cross over in the sizes.

We wanted something we could leave on our dog most of the time so he'd have his tag if he happened to get loose, and this collar doesn't rub or irritate him at all. It was easy to adjust to size. Only complaint is that the exposed velcro left after making the adjustment picks up grass, foxtails, etc - it would be nice if the collar included a way to cover up any excess instead of leaving it exposed. Not perfect, but I would buy again.

The size chart for this is not quite right. I ended up having to get a bigger size for my dog due to this. Overall, the quality is good, and it seems to be pretty sturdy and comfortable. Just be aware, if your dog is at the high end of the size range, get the bigger size.

My dog & I love this collar. It’s light, so soft on the inside & seems durable. This is the only collar I’ve found that hasn’t irritated my dog’s extremely sensitive skin & he doesn’t try to take it off. The medium grey fits my 22# pug with lots of room to grow & looks stylish on his black coat. I worried about the velcro, but it’s not an issue. The scratchy side of the velcro is completely covered & doesn’t snag on anything. There is a separate plastic tab to hang ID tags. I would prefer that to be metal, but it’s small & lays down flat, so no complaints. I use a harness for walking, so I can’t comment on the collars performance with a leash, but for all other intents & purposes it’s a great collar. I would definitely recommend for any dog that is prone to rashes or has collar sensitivities.

Lasted for not even 2 mos before the Velcro split from the collar. Now the extra just flaps. It is comfy and my dog wasn’t bothered by it at all like other collars so 5 stars for comfort 0 stars for durability. 3 overall is generous.

I was looking for a collar that I could quickly put on and remove. This is it. It is very soft and my dog seems to like it. I wanted a collar that I would take off and allow him a little freedom from wearing it while inside. This is super easy to take off. Love it.

We were looking for a good, sturdy collar for our big guy and we're glad to have found this one.The collar itself is very well made. It has a nice clip that's easy to put on and take off, an extra loop for dog is tags and the neoprene is nice to keep the collar from rubbing on their neck.Its nice that it's reflective too since our boy is almost all black and super hard to see at night.There were two issues we had with this collar...The first is that there is not much room for size adjustment on this collar. It would probably be easy to make the collar larger but making it smaller would have the velcro strap hang off as the velcro does not go all the way around the collar.The second is that we have only had this collar for a month or two and have already had issues with making the velcro stay put. It seems like very strong velcro but it has worn down quickly and the stitching has come out as well. I am disappointed by this but liked the collar well enough that I replaced the hook part of the velcro that was falling off and added a heavy duty snap that should fix the problem. Would have given 5 stars if not for this issue.All in all I am pleased with this and our boy seems to like it as well.
