Simple&Opulence Belgian Linen Bed Skirt with Classic 14 inch Tailored Drop Dust Ruffle, Easy Fit Breathable Premium Natural Flax- Basic White, King

The bedskirt was 14 inches and I thought it would fit my bed. My bed is 12 inches from the floor so I was planning to send it back. I liked the fabric so much, and it was exactly the color I wanted so I decided to hem it up 2 inches and it’s perfect. It looks beautiful. I’m very happy.

This is a nice quality bed skirt.The gray is a very cool tone, so be aware of that. The linen is a nice weight and the pleats are perfect so it hangs nicely. Definitely worth spending a little more because the quality is there.

I rarely review but I am so thrilled with this bed skirt. It’s really high quality for the price and won’t rip in the middle. I did have to steam it once before putting on which was easy and now it looks perfect. 10/10. It was hard to find so wanted to help someone else — this is the one you want.

The linen bed skirt arrived quickly in a clear plastic bag rather than typical packaging which was a bit odd. Skirt is nice quality and looks like the pictures. It is amply ruffled and drapes nicely. I purchased the 16# drop based on purchasers' comments of the 14" being a tad too short. Color and material is neutral enough so that it can be used in various combinations and seasons. It had some wrinkles but not terrible. I didn't bother steaming them out. It looks lovely under the comforter. So far, I'm pleased. Time will tell how it will stand up to launderings, thus only 4 stars.

I needed a bed skirt to match our new comforter and this was perfect! I really like the structure of the pleat and the linen look and feel. Also the length was exactly so it doesn’t hang low to the floor.

If you are thinking of buying this dust ruffle/bed skirt but think $60 is a bit much when they are so many out there from $12 and up, here’s a good reason to give it a go.Initially I was looking for a brown bed skirt, to bring out the brown accents in my new duvet cover set, and I couldn’t find a brown one in linen, plus I was trying to do it on the cheap because we’re broke after rebuilding our house that burned in the 2020 lightening fires in the Redwood forest where I live. Plus, this was for our guest bedroom so I thought I should watch what I spend.I previously bought and tried two other dust ruffle/bed skirts that I’ve since returned. I just knew I needed a quality linen ruffle to gussy up my little used headboard with plain metal bed frame, that I bought for $50 off Facebook marketplace (there are some really nice quality hardwood beds and headboards for a steal on that site if you’re tired of looking at all the hardwood beds online that aren’t really hardwood and cost a fortune and then fall apart easily or feel cheap. I also bought the most beautiful sleigh bed that is solid wood for just $150, and it looks so high quality and would’ve cost around $2,500 new. They do have some dings in them, but that’s fine and it’s the same thing that happens when you move homes and what a heartbreak that is when it happens to your new expensive bed, right?)Anyway, back to the dust ruffle, don’t waste your time with the cheap ones if you know you really like the look of real linen. I was thinking of dying it brown, and still one day may do that, but now I kind of like the lighter linen color and am planning to buy some linen curtains for the French fits in that bedroom to match the ruffle.Oh and two more things: I put this dust ruffle in my dryer on steam for 20 minutes to get out the wrinkles (if you don’t have a steam function try just throwing it in the dryer for 20 minutes with a small, slightly dampened clean, light-colored wash cloth and that should work just as well.)The second of the last two things is that if you’re reading this review in November 2024, I got that adorable queen duvet cover set on Wayfair for $56!
