High quality materials & construction, very comfortable but loose for med sized female
I think these are the 5th or 6th set of carpal tunnel braces I've ordered in the past year - 2nd set of night braces, although I've worn some of my daytime braces at night for extra support. These are definitely the most comfortable set I've found. These appear to be & feel very well made...quite a bit better quality than most of the others I've tried. I really like how there are 2 large velcro closures on top & then 1 wrap-around velcro band that gives great support/compression at the wrist. The wrap around band also attaches well to the brace. I really dislike it when the straps don't fully attach & then get caught on clothing etc. These definitely won't do that.My only note is that they are larger than I expected. I am a very average sized woman with average hands & wrists (maybe slightly small wrists). These braces could fit a much larger hand than mine...I would guess up to a med to med/large male hand. This hasn't really bothered me since they are for sleeping but there is a lot of room in the finger area. It hasn't bothered me because there is a well-sized bean-bag that your hand naturally bends around...as a result the space left above the back of the hand hasn't reduced the effectiveness for me. If you are looking for a tight brace from wrist to hand & you are a small to average female these may not be for you.

Thankful for a good nights sleep again.
Thanks to this brace, I wake up pain free most nights. I used to get woken through the night with sharp pains in my wrist, lower arm, and hand but thanks to this extra padded night brace, I can get a good nights sleep. Granted, I've only had this for about a week and it is all still new, but so far so good. It is comfortable to wear for the most part. The metal bar on the top, can be a bit uncomfortable until you get it positioned just right, but all in all, it is a lot better than sleeping with my day brace or sleeping without. Can be used on both the left or right hand. Pretty easy to use (Like I said - that metal bar on the top can be uncomfortable if not placed just right). Velcro is nice and stronger. Fingers have freedom of movement but wrist is nice and stable. Extra thick padding in the palm of the hand. Feels like it has the beads from a stress ball inside. It can be arranged to fit comfortably in the palm. \Good, sturdy construction. Can be washed as long as you remove the metal bars inside first. All in all, I am very pleased with my new brace. We will see if it continues to hold up after multiple nights of use or if the beads break down in the underside of the brace and if the velcro wears down. Will update my review as changes occur.Would I recommend this brace? YesWould I purchase this brace again? As of now, yes.Sassy Beta Reading & Review

Works really well and good price.
So on 11/23/15, my shift was ending and I was ready to call it a night. I pushed my chair back and felt this huge pain in the palm of my left hand. I thought it was just arthritis but after seeing the doctor, he told me I had sprained it. He suggested a wrist brace so I went online and found this.I used it immediately and I have to say that its been great. When it says that you're wrist won't move, they mean it. I wear it at night when I sleep and the cushion in the palm area is great for when I need to give myself a push off the bed. The velcro wraps well and the construction of it is very well done. The only issue you might have is when you need to type. Its actually large so you end up typing with one finger instead of 5.

What a difference!
I had been using the wrist brace at night, but that didn't stop my wrist from tilting backwards. Nevertheless, it was all I knew. As I was looking for one for my left wrist, I noticed this in the "customers who bought this also bought...." I had no idea such a thing existed. This is perfect. It completely disables my wrist. No movement and no harsh angles. It is big and bulky and when I tried to use my phone and type a text message, my thumb couldn't reach the middle letters. LOL I'm supposed to be sleeping with this on, not sending texts. After a few nights with this on, the pain and tension in my wrist disappeared, I can go several weeks in between uses (unless I've been doing a lot of computer work). Some people mentioned that the thumb hole dug into the webbing. I did not experience that, but I can see how it might if you have larger hands--perhaps.I have absolutely nothing to compare this to except the wrist brace, and this is AMAZING compared to that. The wrist brace is great during the day, but this night brace is a game changer for me. Double bonus that it works on both wrists--obviously not at the same time.I would definitely recommend this.

One Size does NOT fit most
I received this brace today. I had used the short version for many months, with success. That version comes in S/M and L/XL. It fit very well (XL). It immobilized my wrist - mostly - and was good for daytime activities, and "helped" at night but was not enough immobilization, so I ordered the "full" brace. It appears to be of just as high quality as the smaller brace, and delivers the more robust immobilization one wants for overnight. The proximate (lower / longer) strap, being a wrap-around, will fit anyone, but the distal (upper - back of the hand) velcro "tongue" is absolutely NOT long enough for someone needing an XL and so the choice is to leave it "unvelcroed" in which much of the stabilization is lost - thereby vitiating its intended use - or pull it so tight to latch it that it compromises circulation to the hand, both being unacceptable stances, but the former less so than the latter.Mueller - you make a high quality brace whose short version I adore. PLEASE make an XL in the full arm version or it will of necessity continue to be rated only as fair because of this important shortcoming.
