This is a syntehic pleather like may that covers a vast area. I purchased this for desk protection as my daughter is a wrecking machine. The mat has been down for 3+ weeks now and it looks like it will be quite robust. It is synthetic, with a soft leather like finish wich is pleasant to the touch easy to clean and initially looks like it will be hardwearing.I do not game with a mouse so cannot speak to it from a gaming point of view. In general operation I have found no issue using a mouse on the surface, I am sensitive to stutters and drops and have noticed none at all (Wired steel series mouse). My keyboard (majestouch 2) only moves when I want to ( no skating).Only downside for me is the edge/stiched edge can feel a bit rough on my mid arm when typing for prolonged periods.Does what I purchased it for perfectly.

Looks stylish and comfortable to work on. I’ve had one of these on our other desk for a few years and it still looks as good as new despite being used regularly.Recommended product

For the price it's good, if you want a desk mat that feels fine and looks fine, this is a good option. Looks premium but on closer inspection it is clear it's fairly standard. For example, the edges of the pu leather are not chamfered, so they are pretty square and haven't been properly finished. This is because the pu leather is cut and then stitched, no proper leather worker would not burnish the edge or take the rough square edge off. But it's cost effective.Another point is, this isn't a surface optimised for a mouse laser, so if your looking for precision in working with a mouse or gaming, then you'll need to get a surface that is better optimised. But it is fine for normal use.Pu leather does tend to stick a little if you are resting your hand on it, especially if you're warm or sweaty.However, for the money this is decent. It provides two colour options, protects your desk and provides a small amount of cushioning and is a better mouse surface than a hard top desk. Good size, the green is rich and similar to a forest green. I did have a loose stitch, but a quick snip and a flash with a lighter sorted it out.Worth the cash for what I needed.

I have never used a computer mat before and don't know anyone who does. I wanted to cover my old mahogany desk with its leather insert to give me a tidier appearance and a smoother surface for my mouse.This mat fulfils these functions so I am very pleased with it. It came tightly rolled but it was easy to unroll and reroll the opposite way. I then left it overnight under a heavy rug and in the morning it was beautifullyflat and could be put in position on my desk.

Some others are too thin, this one is thick enough & decent for this price.

Bought this item before in a different colour. It looks great and of good quality. Happy with it.

Comfort, practicality.

It's advertised as "slip resistant", but I don't think that any effort has been put into making it slip resistant in the slightest.In fact, if it was advertised as "engineered to be extra slippy" I'd think - "they've done a good job there, it certainly is slippy!"All in all, it's not expensive and looks OK too. I'm sure I can live with it. Worst case, I will find some way to tack it down a little.

After a year of use it remains in good condition.

Nice looking and lays flat - no curling at the edges, plus it's reversable. Has a slight texture but my mouse works very well on it. Can't address how it will work for me in the months ahead, but right now I'm very happy with this product and the price is more than fair.

Have had the mat a couple weeks now. I was looking for a desk mat to protect the working area of my desk and to add some extra colour to my workspace. Desk is 50"x26"x29.5". Ordered the 35.4"x17" in dark green with light grey on the other side. Mat is smooth to touch, waterproof, easy to clean and lies flat. Considered buying one to cover my whole desk top but would have to cut out to fit around the back charging outlets on my desk. The smaller size has worked out quite well and complements the colours I already have around my desk. Will definitely order again when I need another mat.
