Good shock for the price.
This is not a $500 shock but it is MUCH better than you'd expect for the low price. It is well made and sturdy. It is maybe 70% as good as an expensive shock for 10% of the price. It is really what most non-competitive riders need. It has only 35mm of travel. The rebound setting adjusts from "none" to enough to stop the bike from oscillating. The preload setting has a very wide range of adjustment. Fit and finish are excellent.I'd say this is very suitable for casual riders. One more thing. The bushing can be removed with a press or drift and mallet. If you do this the ends are 14mm wide. You can then cut the bushing to the size you need and re-install them. It can be made to fit in a space that is between 14mm and about 50mm wide. It comes with bushing but you must supply your own M8 size bolt and locknut.I give these five stats not because it is the best shock. It isn't but because it is a five-star value and the thing to get if you have a budget.

Amazing coil
So I replaced the crappy KS290 coil on my Atroz, because it was weak and kept bottoming out. This coil resolved that issue. My bike doesn't bottle out any more. Also the slower damping give the bike a lockout feel when set all the way to slow. Which makes the bike stiffer and faster to go up hills w/o losing work when pedaling. The the price you can't beat it. I will try their dh coil soon! I hope this helps. My bike was stick 184mm... but after researching other models of my bike was using 190mm and it fits just fine.

Great replacement for 2011 DB Recoil shock
I received the shock a few days ago and installed it the same day. As mentioned by most, the width of the bushings had to be narrowed by about 2mm because the mounts are too narrow - so you have to use your original bushings as shims (washers would probably work too). I used my bench grinder to take a little material off of each side on both front and back. Once installed, I adjusted the preload until the spring wouldn't move. When I jumped on the bike, I could only get about 8mm of sag (about 15%). My ride weight about 195 with full/loaded CamelBak. I figured the spring was too stiff.I finally got to the trails today for a ride. After playing with the rebound adjustment, this thing is SMOOTH! I ended up with 5 clicks from SLOW (the shock has 16 clicks total). The trail covered every terrain from gravel to grass to mud to roots to rocks - the shock smoothed them all out (as much as possible). If this is what a $50 shock feels like, you must not feel a thing riding a $300 shock! This was the first ride that my ass and crotch haven't felt bruised since I started riding again! I also use a BikeRoo seat.I will update periodically on the performance and durability of the shock.

Part exceeded expectations
The original rear shock had a pretty good spring, but nothing in way of return dampening. So while it took the ring out of a bump, it returned with equal and opposite force against its stop. Effectively I felt the bump twice. This new shock eliminates that problem completely and its action is so smooth, in fact it rides like there is no back wheel at all....just floating back there. I added a bit more spring tension just so I could feel a connection to the road. But effectively for my purpose, I am riding with light spring tension, and heavy gas dampening. On a washboard surface, it is possible to hit the next bump before the shock totally returns. The cure for this is just to reach down and take out a little dampening. The red dampening knob is great and easy to use on the fly. This is a very good product of very high quality and promised performance.

Works Great
After replacing several air shocks on my 15 year old stumpjumper I decided to try something lower maintenance. I've been mountain biking since college and now I'm mid 50's so I don't need the high performance of the air shock. I can't tell the difference between this and my other air shocks. Installation took a little longer than expected since the top eyelet was to thick by a few millimeters for my bike. It took about 30 seconds with my grinder to make it fit. Fortunately the bushings from my old shock fit this one perfectly.

Great shock, until it wasn't.
Bummer. The shock was working great, I liked it's handling. Let it be known that, and I'm sure it's design is to shave off every ounce, the main shaft is hollow. The end of the spring on passive end the shaft is also threaded making a super thin section. Not the best of designs. Sure enough, el snappo. The shock is one thing, okay. I'm big and ride hard, but it's the damage it did to my full carbon/suspension fat bike (unicorn) that bums me. Would not recommend to Clydes that get some.

Great value for the performance
Got the shock to replace the stock air shock that came on my bike. Major difference in ride quality over the air shock. Once I set the coil pre-load and adjusted the rebound, it really changed how my old Trek felt on the trail. I like the simplicity of it. I did develop a little squeak after a few rides. I ride on local trails in Colorado and they're very dry and dusty. I sprayed a little silicone lubricant where the shaft goes into the body of the shock. Squeak went away!

Decent e-bike shock, cost to high
It was a decent upgrade in ride quality on my Razor mx650 electric dirt bike. I ordered the 190mm to raise the back of the bike, improved handling. Only gripe is the cost, I was expecting more, I just ordered a set of high quality monroe rear shocks for my Dodge and they were $115 with tax. That means about $57 per shock. How r they selling this small low quality shock for the same price?

Works fine for the price
Works great on my Rockrider. The 200mm still fit no problem and was 10mm larger. Made my extra large bike 1cm taller. It’s a little stiff and bouncy for me but doesn’t rattle like the stock shock the bike came with.

No bushings included
I thought that the bushings were included just like what the picture shows. Sure would be nice to have more bushings, however the product is of good quality

I'd like a refund
Been on the bike 3 weeks used hardly at all and leaks like a Siv. This product obviously defective. Bad seals?
