Great value for the money
Much more sturdy than I was expecting at the price. Works perfectly like an old kitchen timer. There is a flow restrictor that I had to remove (just plucks right out) to get full pressure, but other than that it works great. Very happy.

Timer label could use more contrast (eg black white) so it is easier to read. Maybe larger font too?
There should be better contrast on the label. For example, Black on White, instead of black on gray. Maybe even a larger font. The person I bought this for said "oh, I'll need to get out by reading glasses... :-(".They aren't wrong - I have a similar one, and cannot read it very well. But in my case it doesn't matter too much anymore as I'm no longer running a sprinkler, and just use it instead of the faucet knob (which stays open) to turn the water on and off, plus the other end has a nozzle where I turn the hose end on the off when i get to where it's needed. I also turn the "timer dial" to off when I'm finished, Though I suppose I should just turn the faucet off instead. Point it, most of the time the timeI dial can fudge a lot. In the current use case, the time set is important, and different for each house connected to the splitter underneath this timer.Since it will not be used, I didn't test this one out, though I ASSUME is works as expected, like the similar looking one I have, branded by ACE I think. (In fact I bought this one thinking it was the brand I have & a good chance it'd work well. Maybe it is the same manufacturer behind the label, I dunno?)I'm replacing this with one from another company that will be much easier to read as it's label is black on white. Unfortunately it's main color is a stand-out red, instead of the nice blending, inconspicuous green that this one has.And in this location blending matters. What to do?Please consider replacing the label with one that is easier to read, especially for ageing eyes. The average age of the population here, and in most countries, is getting older, so it's a good long term strategy ;-)

Wow, works great. No more forgetting to shut off my sprinklers. Love how easy this timer is to use on a spigot.

Just Perfect for the Job!
Had one of these at our first house 38 years ago. Lost in one of the many moves over the years.Didn’t think they’d still be around so I grabbed it.Works as advertised. No fancy settings. Don’t need them!

Timed Sprinklers Are Great
This timer is pretty useful, especially if you have ADHD like me (I always forget to turn the water off). Just set it and walk away, no need to worry about it. The dial is big enough that it's easy to read even when it's wet or you're wearing gloves, which is nice. I think this thing might be made out of plastic though? It doesn't seem like metal anyway (I don't really know what it's made from but who cares right?). Anyway, the only downside is that sometimes I accidentally bump the dial and change the watering time, so double check it before you leave.Setting up this thing was pretty simple too. Just screw it onto your faucet and then attach your hose to it, like a normal adapter. The instructions were easy enough to follow (I skimmed them anyway). Overall, if you're looking for a timer that doesn't require batteries and is easy to use, this one will do the trick. Plus, it lets me go inside and forget about watering my plants without worrying about wasting water or overwatering them.

Worth the money!
I bought 3 of these a year ago despite some of the reviews left. They went through a blazing hot summer and a couple of hard freezes over the winter. I turned them on this spring and they are still working perfectly. One has developed a small drip. Overall I am pleased with these. They are timing and turning the water on and off exactly as I set them. I just purchased 3 more for the greenhouse and the watermelon patch.
H**!
Great for sprinkler timers at this price.
Timers work great but plan on replacement each year or two. Insides are all plastic and wear out. When that happens the timer won’t shut off.
