Chinese Calligraphy Kanji Small Script Loose Rice Paper Ripe - Vertical Line

Excellent paper for practicing Chinese calligraphy. I used fountain brush pens with Kuretake's Sumi ink cartridges to write on the paper and found it able to absorb ink to its inner structure without smearing out to blur the strokes or through to stain the surface of the desk beneath. To test the flexibility of the paper to absorb ink, I tried fountain pens with Iroshizuku shin-kai ink and, contrary to what I thought, there was not much feathering occurred on the paper. The Iroshizuku ink did go into the paper but did not pass through to appear on the back side.

Product as expected and is in excellent condition.

Received today and tried it out. Quality is pretty good. Will buy more later.

Well it is claimed to be shu Xuan paper but ink spreads uncontrollably on it, which is not supposed to happen to this kind of xuan paper. Not recommend it.

Best paper quality. Beautiful style. You will not be disappointed by this wonderful product. It is cheap but well designed.
