This timer works very well. Extremely easy to operate. A child could set it easily! Has magnetic strips on the back so it is attached to my refrigerator. Handy for kitchen use and doesn't get misplaced. Highly recommend this 60 minute timer.

I teach in a very rowdy urban district with armed security guards and rambunctious teenagers, and not a single student complained when I started using this to time activities last week. In fact, I think they really appreciate having a sense of how long they have to complete DO NOW activities before I move on to something else, or how long they have to wait before they can start asking to use the bathroom pass at the beginning of a class period. The visual information and objectivity of a clock seem to be all they needed. Not one single groan in any of my classes--and believe me, they find ways to complain about just about anything. As a teacher with ADHD, I also find this helps keep ME on track, because I have a very poor internal sense of time. So at the end of the day, when I'm doing work in my classroom, I use this timer for myself, so that I finish up and get out of the building in time to make sure I can meet my son when he gets off the school bus back at home. It was a seriously frantic race before this!

Use it at the women’s shelter to time their use of showers. So easy to use and can be seen across the room without glasses.

I love this timer for my classroom. You can set it to a quiet signal or alarm. It has a very strong magnet and the timer is easy to turn. I love the visual countdown it provides for my students without having to use my smart board!

I got the blue color one because red seemed like it should be for emergency or something negative, and I'm trying to cultivate a positive of time so figured any little bit helps. The clock is pretty big and has a little stand so I just have it on my desk next to the monitor and it's very visble and easy to set/reset (big analog/physical turning knob in the middle). Great timer. I do wish they would have a mode to just beep once instead of six times though. Six beeps? I mean, it's not too bad and you do want to be alerted ... but this is not good for night time - just a single subtle beep would have been awesome. Crossed my mind to take it apart, or make that a electronics project... hm, anyway as far as these things go this is a great timer.

While I love this timer, I’ve had to re-buy it twice already. It lasts about 2 years before the timer stops working or it stops moving. I’ll be trying a different timer this time to see if it lasts longer.

Unfortunately, this timer is unreliable. It worked for around 6 months, but began to freeze or "stick" as it travels along the countdown. Tested the batteries, they are fine. After multiple incomplete timing attempts, I tried lubricating with silicone grease, no effect. Would happily pay more for a similar, more reliable timer.
