Vulcan Gear Medieval Middle Ages Sword with Matching Scabbard

This is an AMAZING sword for a great price! It has good balance, and a nice swing. Super nice swing in fact, good control and does not feel like it will fall from your grip if you have a nice fair hold it! The scabbard is well made for the price! Not leather bond, but still strong and looks like leather if not holding it in front of your nose. The blade came oiled, and is even and straight! If you looking for a display sword or just a good photogenic sword, this is the one! It is NOT full tang (which means, not built for battle), but looks AMAZING and super kick-butt! The only small bummer is that the handle (forgot the technical term) is not fully straight with the blade. Not a really biggy! You would have to look super close to see it! I would tell anyone that this is a great buy! Aragorn would have been proud!

Great quality for the price. The blade, while plain, is impressive and semi-sharp. The leather wrap on the grip is a little skimpy but the pommel makes up for that. it is an impressive low-cost blade while not of combat quality looks like it could do some work. For stage and replication appearances it is impressive on the hip or on the wall. This is not a small piece. I put it together with an arming belt and general purpose vertical frog and it has to be mounted quite high on the scabbard so the point does not drag. If you were recreating a medieval horse montage, this would be an magnificent accessory. While this blade can be handled with one strong hand and arm, it is a two handed piece of steel.

You get what you pay for. Some of the etching and painting looks lazily done, and it is not a sharp blade. But this is a display/cosplay sword. The blade is stainless steel, and does indeed look very real from a distance. There are no sharp edges or points whatsoever, which is fine if you’re going to dress up. Not a fighting sword, you’ll damage it. Overall, solid purchase. And a decent buy for a Lord of the Rings fan not wanting to break the bank on a replica of Aragorn’s sword, Anduril.

Ordered and received the narsil knock-off style. I read many reviews and figured for the cost, if it was a little bit janky I would be fine with it. Expecting to maybe have to do some fixes, I was quite surprised when I unboxed. Sword feels sturdy and looks great. Scabbard is solid, looks nice, and the sword slides easily but, still sits firmly. Exactly what it should be but at a price where you'd be ok with it being a little wonky. Obviously it's not a real sword but, anyone who would order it and think it should be... well they deserve that.

Came quickly. I thought price was reasonable for what I wanted to achieve, just looks of costume. It is not sharp. Has good weight to it. Cool sword for good price.

This sword is not a toy! It is a real sword that is weighty and extremely well-crafted. I purchased this for a Halloween costume and was thrilled when it arrived. It does have some heft to it so I would suggest its not for children and although the blade is not sharp, there is still a point that could do some damage, again probably not for children. It comes with a matching sheath that compliments the sword and increases the overall appeal.

Situation: 5- Stars if you plan to always keep it sheathed and abandon Gondor. - It’s looks & feels really, really short. 3 stars because the hilt and handle present nicely for outing/ cosplay. Not good enough for photos, because unsheathed you’ll be laughed out of Númenor. I wanted to do photos with it, then later display it. I will return and pay extra, since it’s a bad display prop. Ok for Renn Faire. - Not suitable even for display, better to fork up the money. - Has 0% detail on blade, but still looks like real steel but my gripe is it should be close to prop ready. It is not, unless sheathed. It’s a half job but the first half is pretty good for the price.

I am actually quite impressed with how it looks for the price. I am gifting it to a friend it is definitely a display item.

I guess I was expecting a light, prop-like sword for this price. It is detailed well and arrived perfect. It is sturdy and strong, has good detailing and I wonder how they sell it so cheap.

The sword came two weeks early witch was amazing a nice Surprise at the end of the day. it’s in great shape looks exactly like the picture shows it as. Overall I’m happy and it’s a fine addition to my collection.

This was a gift for my daughter and she absolutely loved it! The sword is a good size and the finish on it is excellent. The blade does not have an edge, but could easily be modified to have one if required. One thing I noticed was a misalignment between the hilt and the blade, but it seems good and sturdy regardless.

I got it on time and was in perfect condition. The hilt was a bit wobbly but all I had to do was screw it in hard and it won't move. the blade was stiff and firm and there was no scratches or crumpled leather. In the end it is a great sword

Good weight, nice handle, it comes slightly dulled (to avoid legal issues and injury), but it's got a nice tip on it which can definitely hurt if you accidentally poke something with it.... like a wall... don't do it. It's shiny, hasn't rusted, no clatter in the hilt or guard, and despite me wacking a bunch of stuff with it, it hasn't bent or deformed at all. Worth it imo.
