Q: On the floral pattern, are the flowers aligned so the 35" side is on top or the 78" side is on top?

The film HAS A STRONG direction. The roll edge (the piece you grab to unroll) is the TOP of the pattern - aka the 35'' goes as the top edge and the 78'' is the side vertical edge.

Q: at night, will it give me privacy from anyone outside looking in?

Really nice pattern with sunlight, as others said at night you could see shape and movement but not discernible. I have a 6’ alley with neighbor’s kitchen windows directly across from mine had to have blinds closed all the time. This solved that problem, plus I have sheer curtain panels up also, that completes the process, have light and privacy. Also have bamboo design in front windows, looks very nice but the lemon drop provides a bit more privacy. Finally, I have the frosted on some key windows and that provides the most privacy with good light still coming through.

Q: Can I wash it with window cleaner?

Yes, you can spray on commercial window/glass cleaners or use white vinegar/water 50:50.

Q: I am buying for TV stand/cabinet. Will this allow remote control signal to go through?

If it's an IR remote, like most older and non smart remotes are, the signal will most likely get blocked.
