My purpose in buying this set was to help my nearly 3+ 8 mo. yo granddaughter recognize lower case letters. She knows the upper-case alphabet already. I bought these to replace an inadequate set delivered a few weeks ago, which didn’t have enough copies of UC and lc letters to spell my grandchildren’s names. This set is presented as having 2 UC and 6 lc for each letter, and it does, for most of the letters. However, I am missing a lot of lower-case letters and one Upper Case. I have not inventoried the numbers and symbols yet. I do have some lower-case letters with more than 6, but that does not make up for the missing ones I might need for a particular word.The entire back of each letter is sheet magnet, and does not seem like an easy tear off, except maybe by a very determined child. There are two dry erase pens that also work well enough, and they have a little open cell foam on the cover ends, presumably for erasing. The UC and lc letters are well proportioned, which was a problem with my previous set.Best of all, the letters arrive in an amply sized compartment container, most of them carefully situated with the 2 UC against the left side of each slot, and the multiple lc letters neatly lined up in the remaining space. Some of the slots were not so neat, but at least somebody tried to present them in order, so I could easily count them. There is also a label on each compartment (Aa Bb Cc.) So far only one problem aside from the missing letters. It was difficult to snap close the box, possibly because the top and bottom were not exactly aligned the first time I tried. A young child may not be able to manage it. And the snap tabs on this type of container often break with repeated use, so I keep extra-large rubber bands on them for backup.I do wish all letters were included, and plan to email the seller about getting them separately, or asking them to reship all, which is a return hassle of course. There were many choices for this type of set, and this one isn’t the cheapest, but nor is it the most expensive. I couldn’t justify paying $24 for another kit with the same number of letters. There was a 5% off coupon I checked off, which knocked off 89 cents. Overall, I would say the kit is well thought out, and if the seller sends the missing letters, I can recommend it.Finally, I especially like that vowels and consonants are different colors. I am not an educator, but I suspect this will help a young child clarify vowel and consonant functions and how they work together to make words.

They packed the boards inside with the numbers, but did not but nothing in between to protect the boards , so now my board have lines and dents all over it . Plus if you don’t read all the way Down 1 board is not magnified on both sides ...so I would say go to the next vender who has this ...

Arrived broken. When I tried to order a replacement I was shown a message that it was ineligible for return or replacement due to it being flammable.An Amazon Customer Rep was able to issue a refund, thankfully.

Received product with box broken in two places, making one side not possible to close. The dry erase boards came slightly bent and one of the two dry erase markers came completely dried out. Disappointed at quality of products. Would not buy again.

The only reason I’m giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because after only about 5-10 uses of the erasable boards the marker isn’t fully coming off or leaving marks. I’ve tried several things to get it off but no luck. Still usable though.

Purchased for my kindergartener while learning virtually. What I wanted. Great for word work

This set is awesome! The letters are already labeled and divided. It comes with 2 nice boards for working. I am able to show my students sight word cards and they get the letters, write the word and then erase and place the letters back in their original places. I am very please with this purchase and have recommended this to several teachers in my building.

We had bought this product for our daughter to help her with her spelling (suggested by her reading teacher). She loves it! They are durable and very sturdy. She brings them with her in the car to practice spelling using the magnetic board that comes with it. Very happy with this product!
