Works great for my helicopter
I bought this to use in my helicopter project. Linked to my Spektrum DX6 and my project continues.

Best Spektrum receiver for DLGs and light gliders. Failed after a few hours of use.
I have 10+ Spektrum receivers and 3 transmitters, starting from an old 6i that still works perfectly. All with very few issues.But, I have two failures with this receiver. First, the unit was loosing binding at every power cycle (like if the bind plug was installed or button pressed). Returned that receiver for a replacement. Second unit reports wrong RX voltage after a few minutes of operation. It starts reporting correctly, but then the value drops steadily for a constant input voltage.Going for the third unit now... This is the best Spektrum receiver for light gliders, so I am still giving it a chance.

Works well to find thermals, recorded data is interesting
This unit easily transmits information to my Spektrum DX6 transmitter. It give a voice message to tell me the altitude of my glider and variometer tones to indicate climbing and sinking. The SD card can store the vertical flight path for later analysis, as you see in the graphic. It's interesting to see that the climb rate circling in a thermal varies a lot, but as long as it averages above zero, you can gain height. I think there is a delay between what's happening and when it gets reported. Maybe a couple of seconds. I don't think it makes a lot of difference at the speed the glider is flying. I have three of these and love them.

Great old fashioned receiver
It is a great receiver!Unfortunately it does not have SAFE and AS3X capabilities. I strongly recommend considering de AR637T instead

Great Telemetry
The AR6610T is a great reciever. The telemetry it allows you to track is amazing. At the club flying field I get ask all the time to show someone how High 500 feet is so they can see what the plane looks like at that height.

I love them, getting to know your plane is so important before you let loose. This will help keep your plane looking like they just came off the build table..... if you set it up correctly!
